This place is for those who want to enjoy Abu Simbel at their pace and not part of fast paced tour group. In our entire Egypt tour, we found Abu Simbel as the most majestic of all so staying here was really worth it.

Firstly the property is very big and well decorated with awesome view of the lake Naseer.Secondly the staff were very welcoming and give you a home like feeling as we got lucky to have a upgradation of the room from suite to a mini flat with various complimentary addons.Lastly the location is very close to the Abu Simbel temple and the lake as well.I would like to mention the name of the Reception manager Hany for his cordial behavior and other staff like Basma.All over it was a very pleasant stay and would like to recommend others to visit The Lagoon resort to have wonderful time. The 3 hour journey from aswan to abu simbel through the desert road was also once in a lifetime experience.

No doubt, the quality of the “guest house” is the best one I experienced in my trip of Egypt.

Hand-painted Nubian scenery and designs everywhere, open garden areas to sit and relax. Plants all over. The dinner was exceptional. And the owner of the hotel was present and so kind, very personable and will go above and beyond to be sure you have the best stay possible.

All, everything is perfect, the hospitality, staff very very friendly, very close from the temples but if you don't want walk, the hotel has a tuk tuk. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. If you are looking a real Nubian experience, this is the place. We lost the 1st night and the owner offered stay one night more. The road to Abu Simbel is close for tourists at 5pm so if you arrive in Aswan late (between 4-5 pm)to be pickup by a taxi, is impossible you can go to Abu Simbel, is better you stay one night in Aswan and Next day Go. You can arrange everything with the hotel, taxi and stay one night in Aswan, also they have a new beautiful nubio hotel in Aswan. Thank you very much to owner and all team Kabara Nubian House.
