Hotel Cannero is located in the lakeside town of Cannero Riviera on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and on-site restaurant. The staff were exceptional, they are wonderfully considerate and very attentive. Many staff were also charming and genuine in their interactions with guests. The housekeeper was fantastic, what a delightful and endearing lady, like wise many of the restaurant staff added to the overall guest experience. Many of the guests had been visiting this hotel for years. All the guests we met were lovely people. There is a real loyalty towards this hotel from historic guests. We met one gentleman from Switzerland who has been visiting for 45 years. Most of the guests we met have been here several times. This is a true testament to the hotel, staff and management. Of course there is the location, fine food to mention but for us the highlight was the people.

The hotel and its surroundings are designed in the style of a palace. Very well made and beautiful. The hotel staff is professional and provides excellent service. The spa at the hotel is excellent. Great hotel in Angera. Right by the lake and in walking distance to local sites, restaurants and activities. The room was spatious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a stunning view of the lake.

Excellent location in Stresa. Nice, clean and spacious apartment where nothing was missing. Lovely host. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Really nicely located, well maintained property. Rooms are spacious, views are amazing, just outside the town of Mergozzo but close enough (10 min walk). Super friendly staff, nothing to dislike!
