Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 950 metres from Apia's town centre. Vaea Hotel owners Lupe and Dean were gracious, friendly and informative hosts. They went above being hosts, they made you feel like part of their family rather than just a guest! Always smiling and happy. Breakfast was always fresh and great tasting! Farm fresh eggs done different ways, pancakes, toast, coconut jam, peanut butter, jams, marmalade, a fresh variety of fruit and alot of other good food, some being baked goodies such as coconut filled buns, so yummy! The Samoan coffee was an added bonus of tasting great. In the morning, the setting was peaceful and relaxing with the many flowers, plants and bushes with the birds singing. Dean and his son Shane made very good margaritas, a definate must try! A clean hotel with a lovely family owning and running it. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and memorable, Gary and Cheryl.

The Samoan Outrigger Hotel offers a pool, Wi-Fi access and accommodation with air conditioning or mosquito netting just 15 minutes’ walk from downtown Apia. It was great staying at the Outrigger Hotel. The bedroom was nice and simple with garden view. It was nice having breakfast by the pool and the food was great. The staff is very accomodating. Internet also worked quiet well. Definitely recommended.

Situato su 6 ettari di giardini tropicali, il Tanoa Tusitala Hotel offre camere con aria condizionata, bagno spazioso, TV via cavo e patio o balcone a soli 400 metri dal lungomare di Apia. Absolutely stunning hotel. Rooms were fantastic, beds massive and the balcony was an added bonus. Layout and decor of the hotel was equally grand - by far the best I saw in Samoa. Facilities exceptional. Location great. My personal highlight was seeing the Fia Fia dancing.
