They were busy with upgrades to the rooms next door but it was not intrusive at all. Friendly staff and lovely rooms. We did not mind to travel to Zion National Park every day, since the accommodation made up for all of that.

We booked the stay 1 hour before arrival after 4 days on a road trip. Our previous nights had been in rather sterile ‘big chain’ hotels. We had a warm welcome at the Historic Grand Canyon Hotel and instantly knew this was going to be a standout experience. The room was immaculate, with all new furnishings including a very comfy bed, nice hot shower and spotless bathroom. We received an excellent recommendation for dinner and it was 2 doors down from the hotel. Lovely gift shops, bars and restaurants are only steps from the front door. The owners are lovingly restoring this old gal and have done a stellar job so far - good luck with the project!
