I've been to bamboo huts before, but this one was the best! It was a nice change! We did the tour to the underground river, everything was smooth. The food at the restaurant is great!

ALVEA HOTEL is situated in Puerto Princesa City, 8.6 km from Honda Bay and 400 metres from Palawan Museum. We especially loved the flexibility of the staff in arranging day trips and scheduling around multiple constraints. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with us. We also loved the floor water fountain. It was easy to refill our water bottles whenever needed, get hot water for tea and this also reduces the plastic waste you get with the bottled water in rooms. Great idea all around and the first time we've seen it in a hotel. We also loved the breakfast, even though we tended to leave a little too early to fully enjoy it every day of our stay.
