There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe our stay at Hotel Raiatea Lodge. Everyone on staff is delightful and goes out of their way to accommodate any requests. We stayed in room #8 in the main lodge. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and an incredible view from our balcony. The sunsets are spectacular every day. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. We are vegetarian which the chef accommodated with delicious dishes every evening. The desserts are fantastic and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with freshly baked goods, delicious home made yogurts, cheeses, cold buts, fruit etc. The hotel offers a number of fabulous excursions through local operators which we took advantage of. They include being picked up and dropped off at the hotel which makes it all very convenient. The operators are paid directly in cash and there are several ATM’s in town so that wasn’t a problem. There is also great snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Kayaks are available to go to the Motu (15-20min.) which was a lot of fun. Car rental is also available right on site and charged directly to your room. Cars have a manual transmission and all in great shape. We rented one to drive around the island which was fun. Overall our stay at Hotel Raiatea Lodge exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return.

O Opoa Beach Hotel fica a 10 minutos de carro do templo Marae Taputapuatea e a 20 minutos da Faaroa Bay, a baía mais profunda na Polinésia. Hospitality was great!!! The tahitian people were beautiful, friendly and very helpful. Accommodation was perfect and presentation was just stunning. Also had tahitian band/entertainment who were spectaculae. Maururu🌺🏝️

The cabin is located in a quiet part of the island on the edge of a beautiful bay that you can swim, snorkel and kayak in. Johnny was also a great host and was very accommodating, driving us to get dinner each night and also bringing us to the market on the way from the airport. Johnny's mum was also lovely.

Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful and served us delicious breakfast every morning. The accommodation is spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you may need. The view is amazing from here and the infinity pool was a nice bonus. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Este retiro tranquilo dispõe de uma grande piscina ao ar livre com vistas deslumbrantes do mar. O Villa U'upa está situado a apenas 10 minutos do centro de Uturoa e do terminal de balsas. The hosts are extremely nice, some of the best we’ve had yet. Christine helped us communicating with car rental companies and our tour guides, as we couldn’t make calls in French Polynesia. She had a list of all rental car companies on island and called every single one of them for us, as we couldn’t find a car or scooter available. So grateful! Thanks again, Christine. The rooms, pool, house, garden and surroundings look even better in reality than in the photos! Breakfast was yummy and the place was very clean and quiet! Only nature sounds around, especially that of u’upa, the yellow-footed green pigeon, where the villa name comes from. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown Uturoa.
