The room is great, spotless every single day, terrace for breakfast brilliant. Quiet surrounding, close to everything. You fall asleep listening to the sea and you wake up with it. Isidoros is amazing host, making the best americano:))! He truly cares, he is there to recommend all the best places to eat, see and go or maybe share a bit of his story. Α charming hotel in Patmos Island with a total of 18 rooms, nestled only 30 metres away from Grikos bay, one of the world’s most beautiful bays. The hotel’s location is great, in one the greatest bays of Patmos, Grikos. The rooms are so clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms have every tiny detail from tooth brush to slippers.

We stayed 7 nights at the hotel, the room was very clean at the beginning and cleaned every day. The location of the hotel was ideal as it was so close to the center of Skala but without any noise! The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us the best guidance to visit and eat at the best places. Thank you Anna-Maria and Thomas for the hospitality, we loved our vacations here and we will come back again! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful 5 star resort situated on it's own private beach, with lounges available for guests of the resort to use (including towels and water). The rooms are quite spacious and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast is comprehensive with many options and coffee made to order. Nice touches like bringing by water bottles to your room at night, since you are a bit removed from shops etc. You can also walk to several restaurants nearby for dinner if you don't have a car. All in the value is quite good for the price you pay, and it was the perfect place for a relaxing week at the beach.

Location was great, plenty of restaurants right along the beach. Only a €7 taxi fare to the main town and harbour Skala. Not much further to St John’s cave etc.

Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again!
