Incredibly comfortable, spacious and beautiful room. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was incredibly gracious and helpful. I had to work remotely while here, and the wi-fi worked great. I have lived in Crete, I visit often, and have stayed in many hotels on the island across a wide budget range. I also visit other areas of Greece from time to time. Lagon - Life Spirit Boutique Hotel easily surpasses most of the other hotels I've stayed in as far as comfort, luxury, beauty and hospitality, and I hope to return again soon.

Featuring a restaurant and a pool with sun terrace amidst its palm-tree garden, Royal Sun lies within 3 km from the centre of Chania Town. We loved the helpful and friendly staff, the pool, the restaurant with an amazing view and great food. We used the shuttle service every day, but also rented a car through the hotel. Both the reception and the bus driver gave us great tips on places to visit. Breakfast was excellent and options slightly varied daily. We also ate nearly every evening at the hotel during sunset and still wish to go back to eat at least one more ceasar salad. Royal Sun and the staff really helped make the first trip abroad for my wife and I truly magical.

Overlooking the sea and the picturesque town of Chania, Klinakis Hotel is situated on a low hill right by the seafront. It offers free parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. We loved the room which had an amazing seaside view and a very modern barhroom. As the rest of the hotel, the room was spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast which included a variety of salty and sweet foods, most of which were home made. We loved having our breakfast with the amazing seaside view offered by the hotel. Besides that, the personnel was friendly and very kind. Built on the top of a nice beach, the hotel is in a perfect location: it takes about 20 minutes on foot to get to the old city. It is also well connected to the roads that take to the most popular beaches, attractions and other Cretan cities. Plus there are a few small supermarkets and several good fish tavernas in the area.

Located in the heart of Chania, within 450 metres from the Venetian harbour, the modern Samaria Hotel is ideally situated just above the main square, next to the central bus station. Perfect location. Walking distance to the old town and beach. Hotel valet parking was also available. Hotel had a serene calm feel. Very clean and rooms were quality. Breakfast was excellent, great restaurant quality food where the variety changed daily. The restaurant even presented me with a complimentary birthday cake which was a lovely surprise and made the day even better! Staff were brilliant, from reception to the concierge to everyone in the restaurant, facilities and even the Pianist that gave light evening entertainment.
