Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. Location is something special, in a real forest, among trees and birds of any kinds. It’s really a bit magic. Owners very friendly. Got some fresh brewed coffee in the morning which was available in the house.

Located at the base of Mauna Kea Volcano, this upcountry Waimea lodge offers cable TV with work desk and fans (available upon request) . Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away. Awful awful place. Do not stay here. If you do... Well, I might have a harder time getting a room and/or paying more. So, yeah, definitely do not stay here. 😉

Situated on the black sands of Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, these oceanfront cottages in Waimea have been restored with plantation-period furniture and feature patios overlooking the... Charming collection of old cottages on site fronting a quiet beach. The cottages are all slightly different, but well equipped, comfortable and clean. It is charming and understated . The details on the Booking.com site really undersell the property. There are beautiful sunsets and the grounds are lovely to walk in. The property does have an independently run restaurant and bar on site. Close to the Waimea Canyon, so you can get a morning head start on other visitors.

Nestled in the tropical Ohi'a and Hapu'u Rainforest at the entrance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Chalet Kilauea offers 3 distinctly unique properties: Chalet Kilauea Hotel, Lokahi Lodge and... The room was exceptional ! It was large and with a lot of space. Very appreciable. Located just next to the Volcano Park, it's a great place to stay for a road trip. Despite there was no staff, the check_in/check out was easy and everything went fine.

Situated in Volcano, 19 km from Kilauea, Halema'uma'u- Hale Kumu La'au features a living room with a TV, and free WiFi. Conveniently located near Volcano National Park. Super quiet neighborhood. The gravel path through the tropical forest is awesome.

Set 18 km from Kilauea, Volcano Hale offers accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Old historic property with a lot of charm. Very convenient location for exploring the National Park.

Kalani Oceanside Retreat features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Pahoa, 2.3 km from Kehena Black Sand Beach. There is also a fridge, microwave and a kettle. The location was beautiful, so relaxing, tranquil and still close to a town. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We wished we got to do more of the classes /events on. Next time 😊

Lumeria Maui is an educational retreat center located in beautiful Upcountry Maui. The staff member John was very helpful. He introduced the property and some nice restaurants in Paia to us. When I needed some ice to treat my injury because I accidentally hit the trunk lid, he helped us right away. We really appreciate his kind assistance. The breakfast was also pretty good!

Set in the Waimea Park, The Cabins at Kokee is 9 km from Waimea Canyon. A full kitchen is available in each cabin. Polihale Beach is 17 km from the property. The Cabins are located inside Kokee State Park just a few minutes away from the Museum but a good 30 minute drive from Waimea. So it is best to bring your own food. As you are surrounded by nature and quietness at the lodging, expect to not have any kind of reception whatsoever. But if you are open to that and also want to spend some time hiking and exploring Kokee and Waimea Canyon this is a really good place to stay for a reasonable price. I was checking in rather late and although the office in Waimea closes at 5 pm it was enabled to check-in after, the staff was incredibly helpful with that. It is possible but I would not necessarily recommend driving up to the Cabins after sundown as the street is rather windy and completely dark. The cabin itself was lovely and definitely exceeding my expectations. There is everything you might need for living at the Cabin for a few days including a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, stove and oven and even a little firewood for the fireplace as it does get cold during the night and obviously the cabins are not completely wind proof. Upon check-in you are provided with clean sheets and towels and an additional blanket in case you need it. There is enough space for at least three if not four people at the Cabin.

Sitting near a black-sand beach, West Kauai Lodging is located in Waimea. This beachfront holiday park sits at the entrance to Waimea Canyon and Kokee Park. The airbnb was really nice, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. It looked nice, there were beachtowels and other beachsupplies we could take, sunscreen and aftersun.
