The location is beautiful, the price is right, and the kindness and service we received from our host, Jesusa, put this location over the top. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, and the dinners came out great too. We used one of our days in Putre to get over the soroche (altitude sickness) and the food and views gave us something to enjoy while feeling less than great.

Terrace Lodge ligger 3,560 meter över havet och 2 minuters promenad från centrala Putre. Detta är en idealisk bas för att utforska chilenska altiplanet. Här erbjuds utsikt över bergen och gratis... Beautiful little property with lovely gardens. Comfortable room, good breakfast, nice hot shower. Secure parking if you come in a car. But the best part was the hospitality. Francisco was friendly and welcoming and when we inquired about a ride to Visviri, Francisco said he could take us! (216000 Chilean Pesos) What a beautiful drive. He explained things as we went, pointing out all the flora and fauna. We were quite surprised with how charming Putre was. We highly recommend this lovely hotel and their superior hosts!
