Convenient location could see the beach from the villa only a short walk. Villa was exceptionally clean and spacious! Will be back again

Situated in a stunning waterfront location on the banks of the Derwent River, these fully self-contained studios and cottages are set amongst 2 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens. Nice breakfast provisions, toast, cereal and milk. Beautiful view of the river with patio space to enjoy it. Too bad I’m not a fisher or I would’ve liked to try fishing there. Nice little TV and DVD selection, framed photographic art in room. Comfy room and clean spacious a bathroom.

Oyster Cove Chalet offers spacious guest accommodation, situated on 6 acres of lovely bushland and gardens. All rooms feature a private patio, each with barbecue facilities. There was everything you could possibly want for a self catering break. Feeding the pademelons in the garden was a delight for us poms. Great nights sleep - total tranquility!

Built in the 1870s, The Corinda Collection offers self-contained cottages and hotel style rooms. Set in lovely gardens, the property offers a 24-hour front desk and free parking. The family who own this venue have done an excellent job, with period furniture and a genuine historic and classy vibe. Views of Hobart and Mount Wellington from the back veranda and the gardens were lovely, and the breakfast was exceptional. I arrived late and the instructions admitting me to the property were clear and well-explained.

Featuring a spa bath, a fireplace and a private balcony with native forest views, Woodbridge Hill Hideaway is just 5 minutes’ drive from Great Bay. We had an incredible stay. The views were amazing and would definitely be recommending to anyone coming to Tasmania. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Tasmania.

With garden views, River Run Lodge is set in Strathblane and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and barbecue. Very nice spacious property with gorgeous views, clean rooms, clean facilities, loads of options to pass the time.

Whispering Spirit Holiday Cottages & Mini Ponies is located in Franklin and offers valley and mountain views, as well as secluded gardens. This is a lovely place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing. Heidi and her husband are lovely and very accommodating. The animals were great to interact with (the goats are super friendly). The produce and little farm store were also a delight.
