Chachalacas is an excellent place to stay.
Chachalacas is an excellent place to stay. We enjoyed the beaches after we met some local people we started to enjoy the rest of it the restaurants and find out that local hotels are better to book when you arrive you can see what you get for the dollar. Hotels that are being booked in advance are overcharging and it’s not good for the economy. It caters to local holiday doors, not so much international travelers, as there is very little English spoken.TheTexx50

Next to the river, but very close to the beach (literally 5 minutes walk). We had a great room with a view of the pool, the palm trees and the river behind them. The beds were comfortable, so we all slept well. Very friendly and helpful staff who eagerly directed us to various things outside the hotel.
