The drains in the toilet smelt really bad. I complained to the receptionist and instead of changing my room, she attempted to clean the drains with chemicals to remove the smell. Well it only lasted for ten minutes. The toilet seat had the previous occupant's hair and despite the fact that I signified to the cleaning crew to clean my room (by putting my card outside my room), my room especially the smelly toilet was not cleaned. Buses are available every 30 minutes and after 9.30pm the hotel location becomes accessible only by cab or walking almost a mile from the nearest bus station.

Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris.
Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris. You can't get there in a day. And never ever leave your luggage at the CDG Left Luggage. Never ever fly Air France where seats are too small for children.

Roissy-en-France isn't a tourist destination so a review of it is silly. Caveat - I was on foot and spent only a couple of hours walking around so probably there is more to the town than I saw. It was probably once a charming small town that has been commandeered by CDG airport. Now it seems to be just cheap airport hotels and light industrial businesses catering to the ailines. I found very few places to eat and almost none to buy groceries. You can walk a mile along a busy freeway to the truly dreadful Aeroville shopping center which is a crowded consumerist nightmare with high prices and a lot of stupid cookie-cutter, characterless stores selling overpriced crap. There is one grocery store there - Aucan, with very high prices compared to almost anywhere in France. There seems to be a nice park to walk in in Roissy but it was too cold to do so when I was there. In short I feel sorry for this little town which had the bad luck to have a giant airport move in next door.

Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I...
Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I plan to Europe as because of the facilitates the airport has. From the airport you can take Metro to the city center or to the hotel where you booked to stay (I usually book my accommodation through www.booking.com). If you are willing to stay for few days or week(s), just purchase a navigo card that you can purchase before you get on the Metro at CDG airport and the Customer Service is willing to speak English too compare if you buy in the city, mostly they refuse to provide service if you speak in English. And if you buy a single trip in the city, you could ended up standing long in the queue. Take any Metro or city map to check where to go and what to visit while in the country. Circle/mark it where you stay so it is easier for your to get back to you hotel. If you choose accommodation, make sure it is closer to the public transportations/Metro. If you are from Asia and cannot away from Asian foods, make sure to search Asian restaurant in the first days so you can mixed your food planning between Asian and European foods. Avoid any crowd and make sure to keep safe any of your valuable items. And enjoy every moments you are there even though it is during the winter or summer time. And thank you to Emirates/EK crews who always provide their best services during my flights.

The hotel itself was fine, but they close their restaurant for dinner on weekends which is a huge problem and disappointed. Because we booked through a travel site (Booking.com) we went by their information which did not indicate the lack of dinner options. For us the major complaint is with Booking.com for not providing accurate information. If you just want/need a bed, then perhaps this hotel would be fine, but we needed a decent meal after a day of travel and an early morning flight the next day.

The hotel was located next to CDG airport and a 10 minute walk to baggage check and security.
I felt very safe as a female solo traveler. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Kudos to Ishmael the concierge who had excellent customer service!!!!! Thank you for all you did for me… scheduling a taxi to and from Paris, telling the driver where to take me and making arrangements for me to get back to the hotel safely. He even cleaned my glasses and gave me a bottled water and reminded me to hydrate!
We have stayed several times at this budget no frills hotel. Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds with cotton linens. Rooms are small with "cruise ship" style modular bathrooms. Shuttle bus available to airport starting 5:30am, cost 5 euros. Walking distance to Roissy village with several good restaurants & two mini-markets open until 8pm. Bus 22 from corner of street will take you to the large shopping mall AeroVille, also open until 8pm with many foods outlets & good shopping.
Spacious, clean room with good shower, fluffy towels and comfortable bedding. Complimentary water in fridge.
Friendly, welcoming staff. We ate in the restaurant and on both occasions, enjoyed the reasonably priced meals.
The hotel is within an easy five minute walk from the free shuttle train to and from all airport terminals. Excellent choice for direct access by train into Paris. And an excellent choice if you have an early departing plane!
The hotel is easily reached as it is situated near Terminal 3 and the CDGVAL internal airport train system from the other terminals. The room was a good size, with all that you need but no extras such as shower cap or toiletries. But it’s modern, clean and the restaurant buffet was good value for money. Just one thing - not to be confused with the cheaper plain Ibis hotel - which I thought I’d booked.
We rented a car, so we just drove the 5 minutes to CDG and turned our car in. This is the 2nd time this year that I have stayed in this hotel and I have not been disappointed either time. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was convenient to have the airport so close as well. They also have a shuttle service to and from the airport but we didn’t use it because we rented a car.
Very nice budget hotel within 15 minute drive from the airport. The staff were all nice and helpful. We were impressed by the quality of food served for dinner which was excellent and reasonable price. They also have a bar with beer, wine and mixed drink choices. A shuttle is offered to the airport for $5 euro per person. I would stay again if ever flying out of CDG in the future.
A hotel nearby the busy airport Charles de Gaulle should be mandatory to have someone at the front desk that knows how to speak and understand English. Ridiculous time spent checking in because the staff gives wrong/incomplete informations due to the lack of language knowledge. I hope this gets read by the hotel administration so they can provide better service to customers.
-Perfect location if you need to stay close to CDG Airport, few minutes from T3
-Check in is smooth and easy
-Spotless and clean inside the room
-Well designed and practical
-Love the views, can see planes in action
-It is exactly what you expect from a CitizenM hotel room if you have ever stayed in one. I was still a little surprised how identical it is.
Very convenient just outside Terminal 3 at Charles De Gaulle. Great place to stay the night before a flight home. We dropped our bags at the hotel and then returned our rental car (rental car return was a bit of a challenge to find) and then took the airport tram and walked back to the hotel after lunch and a covid test at the airport. Breakfast was good.
Nice hotel, close to the airport and free shuttle to the subway (RER) to Paris city. Comfortable room on 8th floor, with view on airport. No sound from airplanes. Staff is very friendly. Parking garage under the hotel for 25 euro per night. Nice working spaces in the lobby of the hotel. Nice bar too.
It's ideal for early flights like we had. It's 1 minute by walk outside Charles De Gaulle Airport.
Staff for check in and out were very nice and although they were busy they were very fast and explained every single detail.
Hotel very clean and modern.
Breakfast was good. Thank you
The main attraction was the price compared to the cost of hotels on the Charles de Gaulle Airport site, The hotel was 5 km from the airport, but there is a regular shuttle to the sirport, cost 4 euros. despite being under the flight path, there was no aircraft noise in the hotel.
It was a nice stay close to the Charles De Gaulle airport and they provide paid shuttle service, which is convenient. However, it is also easy to reach the hotel from the airport or the airport from the hotel by bus, if needed.
We loved the easy access to and from CDG airport via the free CDGVal tram/shuttle. The hotel itself was bright and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant offered a good selection of nice meals.
Very friendly staff, super clean room. Modern hotel and room, good restaurant. Very convenient for airport. I'll probably come back everytime I have a flight to take at CDG
Comfortable airport hotel. Good choice for arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport with Bikes. Hotel restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner. Helpful staff.
I love the views and ambience the hotel gives. I love the location, its proximity to the airport, and easy transport via bus or train to Paris city centre.
