We were able to check in a few hours earlier. Soo made us a tea, showed us the town, gave us recommendations for the area. For little money you can get dinner that they cook freshly. The breakfast was just delicious - with fresh self-baked bread. Loved their art around the house, the patio, the living room with their turtle Torto, the big kitchen where we had endless talks with Sol, Chris and Simon.

Base Puelo is located in Cochamó. Private parking is free for guests. In the Front end our staff can talk in english or spanish, staff will be happy to provide guests with practical advice on the... the place is amazing. Cabin has everything you need! Staff was very nice and attentive. Perfect for a family or group of friends

Featuring city views, a shared lounge and free WiFi, Dolce Vita - Alojamiento Histórico features accommodation attractively located in Puerto Varas, within a short distance of Pablo Fierro Museum,... Nice room with a super comfy bed. Everything was clean. The TV included Netflix, which can be a plus on rainy days. Although we hardly know any Spanish, the staff was super patient and helpful. They also ordered a taxi to the airport for us, as we had to leave pretty early in the morning.

Beautiful comfortable room, fantastic view, incredible breakfast. And the hosts are just incredible people! It was just delightful to visit with them over breakfast. They gave us great recommendations. We have been in Chile for over a month and this is my favorite stay!

We stayed in the cabin rather than the main house and loved it. Beds are super comfortable, shower has lots of hot water and good pressure and everything runs off solar there so although portable phone chargers were de rigeur and wifi didn't always work in our room, it was always perfect in the main house. The kerosene heater heated up the place in no time and it stayed toasty warm. Lots of blankets, too, if you prefer that. Klaus and Marcela are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed a couple of excellent home cooked dinners with them as both are excellent cooks. Breakfasts are equally delicious as bread and spreads are homemade and their coffee is some of the best we've had in Chile. Really, our hosts are what made it truly special to stay there. They are delightful, friendly people and they went out of their way to help us with some issues we had with our car rental. Klaus speaks excellent English in case your Spanish is as shaky as mine. The hostel is located a couple of km outside town, but it has a lovely stony beach just a 3 minute walk away for relaxing and watching the sunset and looking for seals and dolphins. Very peaceful. Due to issues with the satellite reception, we had to pay in cash, and we had no luck with the only ATM in town, so prepare accordingly.

Continental breakfast was included and were just the right amount of food to get us started on our day. Mati was very knowledgeable about the area and spoke English fluently. we very much enjoyed meeting them and their adorable dog Lucy!
