We had a very short stay but it was lovely. We were really looked after by the hosts who had to stay up after midnight to let us in (after a delayed flight). Lovely place on the camino route. It is a contactless check in. We were given codes to the main door entrance and a seperate code for the room. Owner happened to be there when we checked. He informed us there will be no dinner as the kitchen is closed at 3pm. However we can get food at another hotel across the road. We were able to have breakfast at 7am next morning when the owner opens the cafe. Room is cosy, spacious bathroom, powerful hot showers.

All rooms at Hotel Amenal include free Wi-Fi access. It is located just 5 km from Santiago de Compostela Airport, on the French Route of the St. James’s Way. nice newer modern place. We liked the friendly check in and having a restaurant on site since nothing else was open this time of year in town

The hostess was so kind and helpful. The location was very good for the Camino travellers or people with a car. The building had been completely refurbished in April.

I attempted several times by both phone and messages to contact the transport driver. He declined my calls. Jessica helped by calling the company-spent over 30 minutes on the phone to locate my bag. I believe if she had not taken the effort I would not have been reunited with my bag. Big Thanks Jessica. You are the best
