Casa Marta is definitely recommended if you are looking for a place to stay in Nuoro: it is located in the center of Nuoro, close to the shopping street and restaurants/bars. The house itself is cool, although there is no air conditioning. Everything you could possibly need is provided, both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Although it is located in the center, you are not bothered by night noise. There are 2 small terraces on the second floor, where it is pleasant to stay in the morning and evening. Marta and her mother Marcella really do everything possible to satisfy you: we had a problem with the coffee maker, and after we reported it, they were there within 10 minutes to fix the problem. They also gave us advice about sights in the area. Nuoro itself is ideal as a base to the various nice places and walks in the area. If we ever return to Nuoro, we will definitely book a stay at Casa Marta again!

500 metres from La Caletta Beach, Villa La Caletta is a recently renovated property situated in Carloforte and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Set on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and barbecue facilities. The holiday home features family rooms. Perfect location and very close walking distance to the beach. The place was comfortable and very clean. Alberto also made sure were all set when checking in, welcoming us hospitably and making sure everything was going well. We had a short one-night stay, but if I ever get a chance to come visit Carloforte again... this is definitely the place to be! :)

The property is a 5min walk from the nearest beach (Cala d'Ambra) and there are many other good beaches a short drive away. San Teodoro town centre is a nice place to walk around. If you would like to take a trip to the nearby mountains, go to Monte Nieddu. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.
