We had a wonderful stay at William’s beautiful Quinta. From the moment we arrived, his warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, and William went out of his way to ensure we made the most of our visit. We especially enjoyed the unique experience of feeding an ostrich and taking a lovely small hike around the property. Thank you, William, for everything — we’ll definitely be back with more time to enjoy it all!

We loved the location of the house. The interior walls are made of granite which makes the house fresh without the need of air conditioned. Also the house is quite spacious. The hosts had a basket with honey, cheese, and coffee waiting for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all it is needed for a conformable stay. The location allows easy access to all hiking trails of Serra da Estrela. One of the best hiking trails starts very near the house and also gives access to a very nice river beach. If you are traveling with pets, the house is also the perfect spot.

We loved everything about this house! When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit, and there were tangerines on the table. We didn’t meet the host in person, but before check-in, we received a detailed guide and a video explaining how to find the house and where to park. Everything in the house is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. There are two bedrooms and a stunning terrace with a breathtaking mountain view. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking. The atmosphere felt like visiting a grandmother’s home – cozy and warm. The village where the house is located is small but incredibly beautiful and picturesque. We will definitely come back!

    Loriga is a nice village tucked way in a deep beautiful valley, a great base to explore Serra da Estrela. The accommodation, having recently been renovated, is quaint, comfortable, clean, uncluttered and has all the facilities you might need. Communication with owner was great and nice treat to have fresh bread each morning. Highly recommend!
