El Sapana Village Lodge está rodeado de vegetación y se encuentra a 1 minuto en coche del centro de la ciudad de Sauraha. Ofrece servicio de traslado gratuito de ida y vuelta al lodge. The room was comfy. There was even space to hang my hammock, which is always a big gold star. There were lots of communal spaces, like the area for viewing the river and elephants wandering by, the fire circle, the bar, and of course the restaurant. The whole place is set up really well around a lush garden, and it's a short walk into the small village nearby. The staff were so accommodating, ever so friendly, and really went above and beyond. It was also really easy to organise activities to get to know the local culture better, and to see some wildlife. The safari was awesome - saw rhinos, a sloth bear, and more. If I came to Chitwan again, I'd definitely stay here again.

The best place I have been in all of Nepal. If I could give more than 10, I would. Shiva’s Hippies Colony in Sauraha is not just a guesthouse , it is a home. Raj and Swastika form a lovely family. Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

The staff was super friendly and made us feel like home. The surroundings were beautiful, garden clean and full of flowers. Quite room, where I had the best sleep after few weeks in Nepal. We also got a tour to jungle with them. Guides were very knowledgeable and caring. Explained every detail and were super patient with us. Would go back to them the next time. It really felt that they love what they do and do it from heart.

Buena ubicación, excelente restaurante, hermosas habitaciones y hermoso el jardin con vegetación de todo tipo. Durante 13 noches me hospedé ahí, y realmente no tengo ninguna queja. Suraj ( su dueño) y todo el personal muy atentos todo el tiempo , dispuestos asistirme en todo lo que necesite. Muy conforme con todo. Lo super recomiendo .

I loved the garden, so many flowers and plants. I upgraded to the double room with bathroom during my stay and I loved this room so much. Was cosy and comfortable bed, also drawers and mirror and space to practice yoga. Very homely. Staff were very nice and helpful, one day I was sick and the owner brought me medicine and checked on me in the evening which I appreciated. I booked 3 nights but stayed 2.5 weeks - and looking forward to returning. Location is also very good. Definitely recommend. Also one of the best priced stays in the area.

El Jungle Wildlife Camp está situado a 15 minutos a pie del animado Tandi Bazaar, y ofrece acogedoras habitaciones con aire acondicionado y TV, restaurante, servicio de masajes y aparcamiento... Es un hotel limpio, ponen atención a los detalles y lo mejor de todo es que esta frente al parque nacional en la zona después del rio. Tenes vista del río todo el tiempo lo que lo hace especial porque podes ver aves, cocodrilos y una noche vimos un rinoceronte cruzar el río. Podes ver el atardecer desde el restorante. La habitación deluxe tiene vista al rio también. El personal es super amable y te hacen sentir bienvenido, organizan tours dentro del parque por tí. Nosotros hicimos viaje en canoa, caminata y tour en jeep, desde el alojamiento nos llevaron a los puntos de encuentro y también nos fueron a traer. Al final nos ayudaron a bookear nuestro bus a Katmandhu y nos dieron nuestro desayuno empacado. Todo el personal está dispuesto ayudarte y no te da la sensación que te están cobrando de más (nos ofrecieron más caros los tours afuera). La distancia del pueblo es caminable! Dejale una buena propina a Sitaran, se lo merece.

What we had intended to be a two-night stay became six, and even so it was difficult to leave. The bar has been set very high for our onward accommodations in Nepal! We stayed in one of the deluxe double rooms, with a balcony at the back overlooking the community forest. Here we saw spotted deer most mornings, and hornbills and a spotted owlet who lives in a tree in the neighbouring compound. As other reviews have said the food at Madhuban Resort is phenomenal (I’d say there’s little point in going in to Sauraha town to eat but if you do want to it’s a short tuk tuk ride or a pleasant walk on quiet roads). The location of the resort is wonderful: it is very peaceful and relaxing to be surrounded by nature yet with Sauraha nearby. Right on the Rapti River with a beachfront bar and garden, you’ll see nature all around you. But most of all, what sets Madhuban Resort above the rest is the outstanding customer care of Prasant, Pukar and Bishnu. It’s like a home from home and the hospitality you’ll receive is second to none.
