Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

My room and all hotel is very clean and wonderfully maintained. The hotel is a beautiful place with a garden, many trees. Located in the centre of Sauraha, on a very quiet, silent and safe place. Walk distance to the safari. A wild rhino gave us a suprise visit, it was amazing to see the wild rhino walking in the pathway of the hotel. Everything works well, hot water, free wifi, A/C, comfy bed. The staff helped us organize private tours and were super attentive when we were at the hotel.Walking a whole day and returning by car was the best experience. We saw 7 rhinos and many more animals. I will stay here again my next visit. Thank you

We arrived at this beautiful accommodation with a magical garden, where they literally took care of everything for us. They planned our safari tour (jeep tour, coneoning, jungle walk, tower night stay, elephant bath and elephant safari). They also prepared an amazing packed lunch and dinner for the above activities. Very helpful staff and delicious food. We really recommend staying in this accommodation.And manager of this hotel Mr.suraz very polite and clam. Thank you for everything.

Situated in Sauraha, 3.3 km from Tharu Cultural Museum, Madhuban Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. What we had intended to be a two-night stay became six, and even so it was difficult to leave. The bar has been set very high for our onward accommodations in Nepal! We stayed in one of the deluxe double rooms, with a balcony at the back overlooking the community forest. Here we saw spotted deer most mornings, and hornbills and a spotted owlet who lives in a tree in the neighbouring compound. As other reviews have said the food at Madhuban Resort is phenomenal (I’d say there’s little point in going in to Sauraha town to eat but if you do want to it’s a short tuk tuk ride or a pleasant walk on quiet roads). The location of the resort is wonderful: it is very peaceful and relaxing to be surrounded by nature yet with Sauraha nearby. Right on the Rapti River with a beachfront bar and garden, you’ll see nature all around you. But most of all, what sets Madhuban Resort above the rest is the outstanding customer care of Prasant, Pukar and Bishnu. It’s like a home from home and the hospitality you’ll receive is second to none.
