Nestled in a gorgeous, ancient temple complex, the grounds are extremely fun to hike/explore during the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of the place through thoughtful signage and the wonderful staff. The food was absolutely delicious - we were eating a feast of unique foods specially prepared for us every evening and morning, which made the experience epic. Okami-san and everyone else here gregariously welcomed us with cups of beautiful matcha, and even shuttled us to and from Yasugi station and to the Adachi Museum of Art. I will never forget this place!

Having been to Izumo before and knowing it would not disappoint, I decided to take my family for another vacation in January. We stayed at Nipponia Izumo - Hirata Cotton Road for three nights. It is a former traditional sake brewery house converted into a kominka style hotel. Situated on a quiet historical sake and soy sauce business street, the hotel not only provided a unique home sweet home service but also amazing fine dining experience. Their in-house chef made each meal using local products to create feasts that delighted the senses. I highly recommend this hidden gem of an accommodation if you do visit Izumo.

Ryokan Koyokan está en Yasugi, a 27 km de Mizuki Shigeru Road, y dispone de jardín, habitaciones hipoalergénicas, wifi gratis y restaurante. A truly beautiful place to stay. The food was beyond anything that we had hoped for. The owners were very lovely and helpful. You are so close to the amazing temple that you can explore it with no one else around

Well located opposit the main station, comfortable room with all amenities. Since there is another Greeen Rich near the station, be careful to check-in at the right one. Onsen is open from 15 o'clock, then only a few visitors will use it. Early hours are recommended.

The Centurion Hotel & Spa Classic Izumo está en Izumo, a 6,1 km de Hamayama Park y a 6,1 km de Masakigaoka Park. Es dificil elegir algo en particular pero me agrado mucho que pudieran orientarme con dudas turisticas con lujo de detalle, se los agradezco mucho.

Matsue New Urban Hotel se encuentra en Matsue, a 17 min a pie de Museo Conmemorativo Lafcadio Hearn, y ofrece alojamiento con terraza, parking privado, restaurante y bar. The location close to the river was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small convenient store closed to the hotel. There is a coin laundry and dryer.

Yutorelo Tsuwano está en Tsuwano, a 19 min a pie de Santuario Taikodani Inari, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Fantastic hotel in a lovely little town. Both the hotel, and Tsuwano itself, exceeded all expectations. I travel around slightly-off-the-beaten-track spots like this in Japan a lot and try to find charming little ryokans or minshukus that are value for money. Don't think I've ever found a better one than this. From the entrance it is clear you're entering a place that's punching above its weight. It looks much nicer than you'd expect for the price. Turned up early and the friendly staff were more than happy to let me check in early and make use of the facilities which include a very nice little rooftop bath (rotenburo) and - remarkably - free drinks, including whiskey and shochu, in the little area on the ground floor from 5pm. The hotel place was spotless (it looks very new) and the Japanese-style breakfast was very nice indeed. I'l definitely visit Tsuwano again one day, and I'll definitely stay here.

Hotel Route-Inn Hamada Ekimae se encuentra en Hamada, a 20 km de Gotsu City General Citizen Center Milky Way Hall y a 47 km de Nima Sand Museum. I remember the location was near a train station which made it lively and interesting when we were looking for dinner. The staff were very helpful in helping us find a suitable restaurant. breakfast was good!
