Service at this level - and I travel every second month in India - is hard to find and at the cost , amazing value . The dinner / bfast option is highly recommended as the food was amazing also .

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. excellent room , modern / clean. comfortable bed. great restaurant in hotel . recommend an upper floor since restaurant is in courtyard next to all ground floor rooms.

Located along Coramandel Cost in Tamil Nadu, The Dune Eco Village and Spa features a private beach area. Rooms are fitted with a minibar, telephone and TV with a DVD player. Dune is an exceptional place to stay. A truly peaceful and relaxing setting with a real flavour of Indian hospitality. Set against a deserted beach but for the fishing bots, in tropical grounds, there are two beautiful pools. Restaurant serves excellent food- we ate there all 4 days of our stay. Treatments are wonderful and reasonably priced. Staying in bungalows furnished with traditional furnishings and huge beds is a refreshing change. If you’re looking for a flashy 5 star international hotel, it’s not for you - but if you’re looking want to relax and enjoy a real Indian welcome from outstanding staff, Dune is waiting for you!
