Nice complex, clean, equipped kitchen, pools, can walk to the lake, half an hour drive to the airport.

Set in Hegykő, 7.3 km from Esterhazy Castle, Hotel HegiQ - Adults Only Hotel offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

The apartment is amazing, everything is done in top quality. But the wellness section is really great. There is an outdoor poll and an indoor pool, a bunch of different kinds of saunas, steam cabin, salt cabin, plus quiet rooms for resting etc. Everything really beautiful and when we used this facility (afternoon) it was almost completely empty. There is also a gym. Normally when an accommodation has "wellness" it is much smaller (unless it is a big hotel), so this was really unexpected! The apartment is well equipped, we only stayed one night but there is a supermarket next door, so you can easily cook meals if you want. There is a small private garden for the apartment to hang out outdoors, and the lake is really close. All in all, fantastic.

Located in Apetlon, 19 km from Esterhazy Castle, Residenz Velich provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Perfect modern oasis in the middle of wine country. The rooms were of a very good size, the pool and sauna were also very good. In addition, the hosts were personable and on the night we had dinner at the hotel, the food was fantastic. The wine list is exceptional, not just covering just Austria but rather an international wine list.
