Loved our stay here. Very relaxed and friendly. Food is gorgeous too. Would recommend highly but make sure you book a room with a view. I thought I had but I didn't so I was disappointed.

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

Lovely large bright room with floor to ceiling windows looking out across a valley. Great shower and comfortable bed. The hosts very kind and helpful. Location was good for stages 13 and 14 combined of the pekoe trail. It’s a 15min walk to Heel Oya rail station and from there you can get the early train to the start of stage 13 at Haputale. Stage 14 ends at Makulella and from there it’s a short tuk tuk ride back to the hotel.

Room was really spacious and sparkle clean. This is the thing I liked about the hotel most. Manager, chef and staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, specially authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. They were so generous to ask for second servings during the meal times and offered free breakfast during our stay for my kid even though we stayed in double room. A big thank for the whole staff and surely we will come back when we visit Bandarawela again.

Everything was outstanding. Our corner room had fabulous views, it was comfortable (especially appreciated the portable fan) the breakfast was excellent (wished they would serve dinner too) and the staff was attentive and helpful. The walk down the railroad tracks to town was part of the adventure. We loved everything!

The view from the common area and bedrooms really is stunning, the photos don't do it justice. It's really quiet, well away from the hectic main drag through Ella. It's about a 15 minute walk into town along the railway line.
