Villa Sofia is the perfect place for exploring Lake Maggiore. Situated in the small and quiet town of Baveno, it is a several minutes drive from the lake and Stresa. The villa itself is very elegant and comfortable, with a nice garden and beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding mountains. Manuela, our host, was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend Villa Sofia.

A very stylish house and also the room is very unique. We loved the view over the lake and it is only a 10min walk down to the city/lake, so you can leave you car at the house. 2 friendly dogs and a beautiful big cat live in the garden. You can cook and prepare your breakfast, everything you need is there. Fabio is a great host!

Locanda Chi Ghinn is a family-run property in the centre of Bee, 4 km from the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers a bar and restaurant with a terrace with panoramic lake views. Fantastic few over the city and lake , Me Alfredo was a great host and have given super tips where to go 👍

Featuring city views, Stresa Residence provides accommodation with terrace, around 1.8 km from Borromean Islands. This is a lovely apartment in a great location. You are less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, a bus stop, a supermarket, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is great. Everything is clean, well maintained and all the basics are provided including good quality bedding and towels. The bed folds away but it's a king size, comfortable mattress and we actually left it down during our stay as there is plenty of room. The terrace is great, a sun trap but a large parasol is provided. Giuliano is a fantastic host. he really wants to make sure everything is done for you to be able to have a good holiday. We would love to return.

Old walkway into town. We appreciated their efforts to see the town and to enjoy our stay. provided garage space for motorcycle parking!

DA MEGGY is set in Stresa. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.7 km from Borromean Islands, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. The flat was very thoughtfully equipped, very clean and spacious and the location was great. There is a parking spot available (we came by train, it was a 10min walk from the train station). Windows facing the back yard and there is a balcony were you can have breakfast. Meggy was such a lovely host and very welcoming. We would always come back.

Great new chalet in a little village Monte / Massino Visconti with local bakery and supermarkt. Surrounded by locals, lovely view at Lake Maggiore and garden. 15 minutes from Lesa at Lake Maggiore. Nice helpful owner. We were the first guests. A lot of space inside. Dinner: pasta pizza Meta and fisg local at FociSpina in Nebbiono.

Set in Stresa in the Piedmont region, La finestra sul lago - in villa con vista e posto auto coperto provides accommodation with access to a solarium. The accommodation is very good - spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The choice of bath and shower is ideal. The location is close to the town, shops and ferries and the short walk uphill from the town is rewarded with a simply magnificent view of the lake and mountains. The hosts were very helpful, let us check in early and offered to pick us up and drop us at the train station.
