The host apologized and told me it was already booked. Then, she contacted me about another property that was very similar and comparable in price due to her connections. She went above and beyond trying to make my great stay the best it could be.

Great studio for three people, high ceilings, clean and airy. Great breakfast on the roof top terrace with homemade marmelade and a fantastic view over the city. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Centrally located in a side street with short walks to the beaches, the market and sights. Very recommendable!

But there is a terrific local pizzeria steps away so definitely no need to do so. Rooftop and loungers around the pool for sunning. If you have a car, transportation is particularly easy and you are centrally located for day trips to Etna, Taormina, Siracusa, Catania, beaches, and more. Be sure to reserve one of the parking spaces inside the gate.
