Set in Siracusa, 300 metres from Syracuse Small Beach and 300 metres from Porto Piccolo, Kyanos Residence offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. It was even bigger and cleaner than I expected. The complimentary local Moscato and sweet cookies/biscuits under a glass dish on the table made the visit even more pleasant. The electric outlets to charge my devices were conveniently located. I wanted to stay another night because a boat tour had to reschedule due to the weather. The host apologized and told me it was already booked. Then, she contacted me about another property that was very similar and comparable in price due to her connections. She went above and beyond trying to make my great stay the best it could be.

Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. Great studio for three people, high ceilings, clean and airy. Great breakfast on the roof top terrace with homemade marmelade and a fantastic view over the city. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Centrally located in a side street with short walks to the beaches, the market and sights. Very recommendable!

Very beautiful and stylish apartment in the lower part of Agrigento, close to both bush and train stations, as well as parking space. The sitting room/kitchen area opens to a very nice terrace. The hosts were fantastic: good communication, clear instructions to get into the apartment and very helpful dealing with luggage and garbage (always a complex tast in Italy).

The property is outstanding, luxurious, comfortable, and has every amenity, including a washing machine! The proprietor, Davide, is incredibly accommodating and helpful. Only three guest rooms so very intimate. There is a kitchen/dining area with treats and drinks available 24/7. You could even cook if so inclined. But there is a terrific local pizzeria steps away so definitely no need to do so. Rooftop and loungers around the pool for sunning. If you have a car, transportation is particularly easy and you are centrally located for day trips to Etna, Taormina, Siracusa, Catania, beaches, and more. Be sure to reserve one of the parking spaces inside the gate.

Located in the centre of Catania, 2.7 km from Lido Arcobaleno, Frally's dream provides air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. Very easy and straightforward instructions for self checkin. Responsive host to my last minute booking. One of quietest nights I have had whilst traveling. Lovely spacious apartment, the couch was perfect spot to chill and read my books. Large bedroom and bathroom. Top floor with a little balcony to step out onto. I came to see the Carrivaggio at the museum, it’s a good 30 min walk but pretty easy, with a nice wee beach just close to museum. It’s less than 10min walk from train station, try via Etna for morning coffee and pastry. Gran caffe was my favourite one. There are lots of Roman sites to visit and the photo is from amphitheater just 5 min walk away
