Mysore has been completely changed, we haven't feel the old Attractions now in the city.. Not maintained properly, all historical places were loosing it's attractions. Now looks like money minded tourism. Only we enjoyed in two places one is Aquamarine and GRS fantasy park.

Mysore is a gem of a city in India.
Mysore is a gem of a city in India. The weather is usually much less extreme than other places in India. The people are friendly and there's lots to do. The palace is beautiful (especially on Sunday night when they light 10K lights for an hour), the catholic cathedral is very nice. The sacred Chamundi Hill is a must! Nandi Bull is on the other side of the hill and carved from a huge boulder. There is also lots of walking places and the Deveraja Market must not be missed for spices, flowers and lots of inexpensive interesting items including incense and jaggery. There is also lots of tailors, jewelry shopping and Mysore silk shops. The Southern Star is a great hotel there.

Mysore is my favorite city in India: it feels rather quiet, spacious, clean and a good atmosphere.
There is good food, southern Indian is my fav’ nice coffee, the beautiful maharajah palace and beautiful architecture, add the holy Chamundi Hill, both for an aerial view of the city and worship of mother Durga

This listing is obviously in India.
This listing is obviously in India.
I can't understand why it's listed with Booking, com as Jugglers Rest in Picton.
It's most confusing!
When you ring the contact number it's in India and the person that answers is very hard to understand and barely speaks English.
Personally I don't think Booking.com should have the property listed at all

I arrived at mysore by train from Bangalore and didn’t get to my hotel til around 13:30. Hotellier kindly provided a map and marked on it local places of interest, thinking this would be too late to visit the palace I went to the aquarium. The best thing about it was the entrance - makes for great photos.
Walking (with the aid of good old google) I came across the palace and couldn’t resist going in. Just 100inr - same price for everyone. I didn’t have to queue for more than a few minutes for a ticket at that time of day but there were still orderly queues getting around inside. I had plenty of time before closing at 17:30 so I achieved my purpose for visiting mysore earlier than expected.
Shoes are not allowed inside the palace so I’d recommend socks as 10s of thousands of people visit every week. The sheer opulence of the palace is something I’ve not seen anywhere else. I didn’t stay for the daily palace light show as I was tired out but I understand it’s quite something.
It’s not somewhere you’d find fine dining but the hotel I stayed at had a restaurant very nearby.

GOOD PLACE TO VISIT.
GOOD PLACE TO VISIT. WE LIKED THESE PLACES SUCH AS CHAMUNDI TEMPLE, MYSORE PALACE, ZOO, VRUNDAVAN GARDEN, MIRROR MAZE AND DEVARAJA MARKET. THE WORST PLACE IS WE HAVE VISITED DOMAINE SULA WHICH WAS ON THE WAY FROM BANGALORE TO MYSORE.
This is a value for money hotel. The breakfast was really good. There were many dishes for the breakfast. Friendly staff. I will definitely revisit this hotel in future. The price they charged and facilities and breakfast food they provided has exceeded my expectations. I have booked this hotel since most of the hotels are already booked due to Dussera festival celebrations in Mysore palace. But was bit surprised and happy with the value they provided for the amount which is nearly half the amount charged in the private hotels per day.
It’s a great place to stay in Mysore. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the Owner(Ramu Anna). Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was yummy which was free throughout the stay. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. I truly loved the ambience.
I would highly recommend this place and would definitely want to come back to this place again.
Thank you Ramu Anna for being a nice host ♥️
The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with a good bed and amazing shower. The location is close to the palace and other attractions. The restaurant is very good, we ended up eating there everyday. The thing that made our stay truly memorable was the staff. We spent 6 days there, and the staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. This was the best stay in or 1 month trip. Don't hesitate. These guys are doing everything right!
Very clean room with all the essential amenities. A new hotel. So everything looked new. Good food and friendly staff. Location is quiet, away from busy road. Being a sustainability champion, I liked the way water was served in reusable glass bottles, than the unhealthy and garbage generating plastic bottled water. Wish they did the same for the drinking water in the room as well.
This new hotel is beautifully clean and quiet and modern with good room service - just what a solo traveller needs after a frenetic day in and around Mysore. It was my safe haven. The receptionist in the afternoons/evenings spoke great English too. As a new hotel they are still finding their feet but it’s a great place to stay.
It was an excellent trip in Mysore. We enjoyed our stay at KSTDC mayura hotel. Great hospitality and service provided and especially thanks to the Manager who supported us for the early check in process and accommodated the rooms for our entire team.😊
Thanks and regards ,
Sundaram
Breakfast was really good, especially the South Indian items like vada, dosa, sambar. But I don’t understand why a good hotel like this serves instant coffee. Why don’t you serve coffee from a good espresso machine? Coffee beans are grown in the forests just outside Mysore. :-)
The feeling of home can be found anywhere if you are surrounded by correct people, Crossroads Mysore is one such place. If you are in Mysore do visit this amazing abode filled with great people Abhi, Ammu, Aflah, and Aju. You would definitely end up extending your stay!!
I like the way they maintained their property with hygiene...am a hotel management student and i travels a lot and sees many lodges and hotels, but this is one of the favourite experience in mysoore. Thankyou guys, best of luck for your future.

The rooms were well maintained. The check in and check out process was very much smooth. Ms Amisha from reception was very much helpful . I highly recommend this hotel anyone who visit Mysore
Don't have anything to like. I have more worst words coming out from mouth. Very very very worst experience, never ever step into this hotel, instead this you can stay even at roadside.
