No breakfast. Out of coffee, little bar of soap last 2min in shower. Parking sucks you have to walk up a hill. Why is there a security gaurd and I have to card myself into hotel. Shady much? AC groaned like it was an old man getting out of bed, place smelled like a tent city in Haiti. Do you get a kick back from Javi across highway because service was horrible and food tasted like my mother in law made it. Horrible. Will definitely tell friends and family to stay away. Only bright side was Herc at desk. Make that dude manager he can do a much better job. Maybe I'll vist when you guys become a quality inn.

A lot of people had told us to visit other cities over Austin - but being from Melbourne we absolutely loved it. A beautiful clean city, offering fantastic restaurants and beautiful parks. We spent a limited amount of time here but will definitely be back to explore all that we missed.

Visited Austin to see family members.
Visited Austin to see family members. Picked the Extended Stay near Lakeline mall on the 183 service road, as it was convenient to the area they live in. The Lobby area was not clean, floors were dirty, the parking area needed to have the trash picked up. The outside entrance was very dirty and did not seem to be very safe. The floors of the elevator matched the lobby floors as they were equally as dirty. As we entered the floor for our room the lack of housekeeping continued.
When we got to our room it also needed to have the carpets cleaned. In summary the pictures online must have been taken when the hotel first opened as they were not a good example of what it actually is. I have stayed in dozens of hotels over the years and would not recommend this one to my worst enemy.

We are Austinites and decided to stay at the Fair Mont for a Mother’s Day getaway. I’ve stayed there before however she hadn’t. She had an incredible time and that in itself meant the world to me. Our room was amazing as well as the view from it. The restaurants and all of the staff were amazing too from the time that we arrived and throughout our entire stay. Everyone went above and beyond by making our staycation unforgettable. We highly recommend the Fairmont and we will definitely be back soon.

Austin is a vibrant city with an eclectic mixture of old and new. It has a vibrancy that only comes from a city on the move! You can still get plenty of authentic Texas bbq and tex mex fare as well as other good restaurants. Public transport is excellent and easy and inexpensive to use.
We loved our stay at the Tommie! The staff was incredibly welcoming and the hotel was designed to a t. The only thing I will say is rooms are a bit small - vanity specifically. And there's no complimentary coffee, but a great coffee bar on site. Pool area was gorgeous and the food was fantastic. The Tommie was accommodating with late check out and holding our bags for the day. Location cant be beat if you want something more central- i.e. not that far from Congress, East Austin, Downtown, etc. Would recommend!
Beautiful boutique hotel. We love this place! Comfortable rooms, pretty and super clean. Everything is there (and in it´s place), well designed and thoughtfully arranged. Loved the little patio area and the filtered water (hot/cold) tea station. Great hospitality by the owner (Kathy) & a priceless service! We received fantastic recommendations for restaurants. One feels warmly welcomed and immediately at home. A wonderful place to stay in Austin. We will be back, thank you so much, Kathy!
The property was beautiful. Modern with a historic feel. very comfortable. the staff was amazing. They have Great customer service & extremely accommodating. knowledgeable & generally easy to talk to. The food & drinks at the restaurant in the hotel are Amazing! Brunch & dinner were both spectacular. truly a hidden gem. The location of the hotel is a nice one as it sits adjacent to downtown Austin. You can walk there. All in all I heavily enjoyed my stay & I would most definitely return.
I was very impressed with the decor and attention to detail to the room and the lobby. I'm an interior designer and I knew this hotel was older and had been renovated, which can also mean "cheaply" but it was done very tastefully with also that "kitchky" Austin flair. Nothing was broken or anything. Every amenity one needs was in the room.
The bed was SUPER comfortable too!
First time at a Fairmont hotel.. All staff were courteous and attentive. The gym was amazing and clean. Pool was a great perk.. Our room is probably one of my favorites we've ever stayed in-corner suite- best views of downtown Austin. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be staying at the Fairmont for future trips. Absolutely recommend.
This hotel was good for the price! Ample parking for no additional cost was a big benefit for a location so close to downtown. Uber to 4th street was only about $15 even at peak times. It’s definitely no frills but it was clean and had the amenities needed for a quick weekend trip. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful!
Location wise I think the hotel was in an okay spot, not too far from downtown Austin.
The room was fairly basic and the beds were okay for a few nights stay.
Breakfast is basic but we didn’t mind that and appreciated the small bite. There was a toaster, microwave and waffle maker along with coffee and juices.
Good price for a private room in downtown Austin. Was walking distance to several fun things and a short uber or bus to most others. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby including the one in the hostel. 6th Street next to the hostel is blocked off from cars most nights to allow pedestrians to flow between bars.
You can't beat the quality and the price of this Boutique hotel. The cabins were delightful and having the bathroom just down the hall was no problem at all. Everything was super clean and comfortable. On-site happy hour plus, and easy walking to the downtown.
Really cool and comfortable hotel in an amazing location in downtown Austin. beds were comfortable, rooms were nice and the bar and restaurant in the hotel were awesome. the only issues we had were minor, but if rectified would have made for a perfect stay!
pet friendly with one time pet cleaning fee.
good floor plan for a hotel suite. Breakfast was included. Parking was free. Access to freeway was near by and 20 min to downtown Austin. 10 minutes to some hiking areas.
The location was perfect. Close to all of the good stuff in downtown Austin, including restaurants, Whole Foods, and bus stops and nice old historic houses to break up the view of all the new sky rises.
Staff was available during the late hours when I would return from Downtown Austin. The hotel was within walking distance of Red River Street, where a music festival was taking place.
The view from my room of the Colorado River was exceptional. The hotel is well-located downtown and has great amenities onsite, including a bar, roof-top restaurant, pool, and gym.
I liked that the hotel is 3 miles away from downtown, which was the reason we came to Austin. The room was cleaned and if was comfortable. Breakfast was also provided.
