Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. The sight was great. The room was huge and comfortable. Walking in the hotel and having breakfast wearing the provided yukata was a soothing experience. The staff was helpful and available.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. It is comfortable house, I love amenities. Privacy and accessible. Lin is an exceptional! She made our stay even better.

Kahetärnihotell Hanamizuki asub Yamanakakos, Kawaguchi järvest 23 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, tenniseväljak ja grillimisvahendid. I had an amazing stay at this ryokan! Just like others have mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious, and I was really surprised by the generous portions of authentic local dishes—such a wonderful experience! The entire ryokan was spotlessly clean and very quiet, making it a truly relaxing place to stay. When I visited, there weren’t many guests, which made it feel even more peaceful. One of the most memorable experiences was the kindness of the staff. It was snowing heavily that day, and I missed my bus, which meant I had to wait another two hours. Out of nowhere, the ryokan staff messaged me to check on us, and when they heard about our situation, they offered to pick us up! When we finally arrived, being welcomed with a warm, delicious meal was the best feeling ever. The ryokan is actually very close to Hirano Beach, but unfortunately, due to the heavy snow, we didn’t get to visit. That just gives me another reason to come back! If I ever visit Yamanakako again, I will definitely stay here. The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made us feel so at home. One of the elderly ladies even noticed that I was unsure how to eat a dish and helped feed me—it was such a heartwarming and adorable moment. ❤️

He explained to us about the place and then served us tea and cookies in the room. A traditional Japanese hospitality experience exactly as we wanted. Excellent location near 2 restaurants that we really enjoyed.

Aiaga kahetärnihotell Temple Lodging Shukubo Kakurinbo asub Minobus, 37 km kaugusel Shojiko järvest. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The location, lodgings, staff and everything was fantastic. All things were perfectly explained in English and the staff is very approachable and kind. We had a great stay.

This place is absolutely lovely, Masa-san (owner) absolutely goes out of his way to help in any way he possibly can. Fantastic view of Mount Fuji from our well equipped room and just a wonderful experience, onsen is lovely and relaxing. Entire area is so beautiful. Trip finished with us checking out early in the morning as we anticipated having to walk up to the station (about 20 minutes from the hotel) around 8am. Despite Masa-san being in the middle of providing breakfast for other guests he insisted on driving us up so we'd time for a coffee. Oh, and getting up early to watch the sun rising on Mount Fuji will remain with me for the rest of my life.
