From the staff,food,onsen and so on. It was a long drive from Kyoto to Takayama and when the bus arrived from the last station the free shuttle for pick-up is already there waiting for us, probably due to heavy snowfall at that time, THANK YOU! the resort is just a 5-10mins walk from the station but its impossible with all the snow. All the staff are kind and accommodating, they always make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. Love their Yakuta, they let you chose which design you like. The room is spacious ,clean and the view from the bath is great. the onsen is perfect with a bit of snow falling . the view from the restaurant every breakfast is unparalleled. Thank you Miyama for giving me an unforgettable winter experience. Will definitely come back again!

Fridge was prepared with soft drinks and beer.

This 4-star ryokan offers luggage storage space and bicycle parking. The ryokan has parking on-site, a hot spring bath and full-day security. It was amazing. Excellent amenities and great service. You can pick up a yukata and the hotelier helps you dress up and take pictures. They give you local snacks and sake. There is also a great onsen that can be rented as private late in the evening.
