Great location amidst the mountains of kumamoto prefecture, with the river it makes for a beautiful scenery. The onsens are great and there is even a swimming pool if you just want to exercise. Food is good, it’s nice to experience a traditional diner and breakfast.

Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA ligt in Beppu, op 26 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt uitzicht op de stad. Super lieve eigenaresse die de tijd neemt om dingen te vertellen over de omgeving. Loopafstand van het kasteel (de moeite waard!) en de hells van beppu. Fijne warme onsen in het huis en hele mooie ruime kamer met uitzicht op het kasteel.

Akarinoyado Togetsu is gelegen in Beppu, op 26 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. Everything! Delicious breakfast and dinner, spacious room, good facilities and very kind staffs. Especially the staffs, we arrived there in windy and cold day. They let us early check in without any surcharge and helped us to make reservation for next day trip. They were so nice and kind. It was very good experience there for my family thanks to the staffs. Highly recomended !!!

Very spacious room with an awesome view. Onsen at my own room. Dinner and breakfast are delicious! Very quiet area. Loving the vibe of this place!

Yufuin Onsen Tsukanoma is aantrekkelijk gelegen in de wijk Yufuin Onsen in Yufu, en is gelegen op 1,8 km van Kinrinko Meer, 28 km van station Beppu en 40 km van station Oita. I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

Assi House bevindt zich in Yufu, op 48 km van Crasus Dome Oita, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een barbecue. Lovely place! Outstanding hospitality and breakfast, plus a quirky but nice cat who even comes with a separate user guide 🥰 very comfortable room that was clean and tastefully decorated (I got a western style room because that was the only one left, but the Japanese ones also looked beautiful). Washing facilities and restrooms also great. The Onsen and shower facilities are outside, the Onsen was nice but not very warm since the springs seem to be a bit cooler than elsewhere. Still okay and no problem booking it privately. Note: shower facilities are not available in winter, so you have to keep that in mind. Cat: quirky, chatty, adorable and playful but, as most cats are she has a mind of her own. Not a huge cuddle bug but peaceful and comes over eventually. I'll definitely come back next year!

Very nice home stay at Japan’s countryside. The owner is super friendly and the accommodation has everything for a comfortable stay. Akizuki is very cute.
