The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The facilities were incredible, the food amazing. We had such a relaxed time.

At the ryokan, every unit comes with a tatami. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the ryokan also have free WiFi. At the ryokan, the units include bed linen and towels. Lovely host. They were extremely welcome and were happy to help us with any questions and local recommendations. Highly recommend!

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. We really liked the history and authenticity of the place, the feeling that it had once been a home and retained some of the original features. There is a nice spot to make coffee or tea, and we slept amazingly well, but you need to be mindful of other guests as the walls are thin. The location was really convenient, easy walk from the train station and the castle. We particularly enjoyed the food (delicious dinner and breakfast) and the kindness of the staff. Fabulous experience.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. Service was impeccable. The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Food was delicious. Property was peaceful. Less than 10 minute walk from Lake Yamanakako. Could see sunrise on Mt Fuji from bedroom.

Do yourself a favor and go to this wonderful place. Everything was perfect cause the hosts know how to take care of their customers. Amazing experience
