Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Great place. Highlight of my trip. Room in the cabin is so spacious, and not just a normal pod or capsule bed. I wish I had stayed longer! Onsen was awesome, so relaxing. Location was great too. I got on the last train from Shinjuku to Hakone (Romanecar) and the last bus, and it was only a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The stop to get back to Hakone-Yumoto station is even more convenient, located right outside of the hotel.

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. The room was spacious and luxurious with a traditional Japanese feel. The staff was really kind and helpful. We booked our stay with dinner and breakfast included and that was the best choice, both was delicious and a great experience. Both the public and private onsen experience was amazing. I would definitely book Mount View Hakone again the next time we come to Japan :)

A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. The breakfasts were excellent. The staff became like good friends. It felt like more than just a business; the place has heart. The baths were a wonderful option, relaxing and romantic. We absolutely love The Edo Sakura and will be staying there every time we visit Tokyo.
