Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

Tucked into the mist-veiled mountains just a short drive from Kagoshima Airport, this discreet riverside retreat feels like something out of a dream. As we ascended the winding road, a monsoon rain had transformed the landscape into a cinematic scene, verdant trees glistening, steam curling above the swollen river, and a hushed stillness that signaled we were somewhere special. The welcome was as warm as the mineral-rich waters. The owner herself greeted us with genuine hospitality that felt deeply personal, ushering us into a room that opened to our own private onsen, a sanctuary of steam and silence. Yet it was the communal baths that truly stole the show: outdoor, gender-separated, and perched dramatically above the river, where bathing in the rain felt almost spiritual, as if the past ten days of travel were being washed away one drop at a time. Dinner was a quiet triumph: a Taiwanese set menu that, while simple, was balanced and deeply satisfying, comfort food elevated by care and context. In a final act of kindness, our host insisted on driving us to the airport the next morning, leaving us feeling both spoiled and a little foolish. Because if there’s one regret, it’s this: staying only one night. Next time, we’ll linger. And you should too.

Ryoutei Ryokan Takechiyo Kirishima Bettei asub Kirishimas, Kirishima Jingu pühamust 1,3 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on kuumaveeallikate, mullivanni ja avaliku saunaga majutusruumid.

Yurian asub Ibusukis, 10 km kaugusel Ibusuki Onsenist. Kohapeal on bassein ja kuumaveeallikad. Basseini ja kuumaveeallikate vett vahetatakse kaks korda päevas. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Selles rannaäärses majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla.... The location is breathtaking, the food is absolutely delicious, and the staff are warm, thoughtful and exceptional. The rooms look out to the sea, tide pools, and Kaimondake.This is our second time to stay at Iseebisou and we love it.

Food fabulous. The whole experience was great, room was amazing. We requested a private bathing experience, and that was lovely in the outdoors.

Featuring open-air hot spring baths and a sauna, Fufurotenburonoyado Ginsyou is located a 4-minute drive from Ibusuki Station. Beautiful hotel that conveyed the essence of the culture and the layout of the room was perfect. Staff was amazing and hospitable. We selected the breakfast to be included and it exceeded our expectations. It made our experience!

My wife and I had a wonderful Japanese ryokan experience at Syusuien. The service provided by the ryokan was top-notch, and we enjoyed genuine and unique traditional Japanese hospitality. We stayed for two nights, with breakfast and dinner included. Every dining experience was unique, featuring fine dining-quality dishes made with local Kagoshima seasonal ingredients. The room we stayed in offered beautiful ocean views, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing and tranquil moment at Ibusuki.

Bihadanoyu Koshikano Onsen asub Kirishimas, 47 km kaugusel Kagoshima Chuo jaamast ja 48 km kaugusel Kagoshima jaamast. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. Very authentic Japanese onsen hotel with amazingly kind staff, brilliant food in their restaurant and private onsen!! It is located in a beautiful space surrounded by the mountains. I wish I stayed longer, it was truly an amazing experience and so relaxing.
