The hotel had just reopened a week earlier following damage sustained in 2022 from Hurricane Ian, so occupancy was quiet with only one other room being occupied whilst we stayed there. As a result the whole hotel is new, with the decor and room fixtures & fittings being brand new. Rebecca at reception told us that we were the first to stay in our suite which was nice ! The swimming pool at the hotel is a great size and had an 8ft deep end and was lovely and warm. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated with kitchen facilities and a great airy bathroom with excellent shower. There was ample sockets for charging throughout the room. The location is perfect for shops and groceries with a 7-Eleven next door and MudBugs, a great bar/restaurant and a pizza restaurant within easy walking distance.

Located on the beach, Sanibel Inn features a heated outdoor pool. Guests also have access to a poolside bar for added convenience. the use of the bikes an paddle boards

"Located directly on 360 feet of shelling beach on Sanibel Island, Shalimar Beach Resort offers 33 brand new Villa and Studio accommodations. Great location, clean and organized grounds. The beach looked awesome with easy access from our motel room. We will return!

Offering a Gulf-front spa, outdoor pool, and free WiFi access, this beachfront Sanibel, Florida resort is 5.7 km from the Sanibel Lighthouse. All the amenities are excellent. Location is fantastic. The units closest to the Resort Center are by far the best. The distant units with no balcony feel too isolated. The sushi bar was outstanding.
