I loved that the hotel was within walking distance of major attractions like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Gülhane Park. The cozy and romantic room enhanced my experience, and I appreciated the quick responses from reception. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and found the terrace beautiful. Several times I told my friend that I would have rather stay in stead of being out in the winter-cold sightseeing.

This was the perfect choice. The cozy and very clean hotel stays in the very centre of the city but still in a very quiet little street. The hotel manager Ali did a perfect job. I felt very welcome and every evening seemed like a home return for me. Breakfast is on a beautiful romantic terracce with a seaview and a glimpse of Hagia Sophia on the other direction. I will definitely return here.

Although the hotel is located very central, literally a few minutes walk from Taksim Square, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The hotel itself occupies a beautiful, cozy building with a reception and a kitchen on the one side, and some rooms overlooking the other street. My room was on the top floor, had a balcony with an amazing view, and a generously equipped bathroom. Breakfast was everyday delicious (also some local treats, like halva, simit or cauliflower-pomegranate salad), served by lovely staff. There is also a cat in the premises, that's super friendly. I am already planning my next trip to Istanbul, and I'm sure I will be back to Taksim Nis Hotel.
