A well-organized, clean and beautfully designed riad with a breathaking panorama. All the rooms were perfectly sized and equipped, coupled with a truly amazing view on the mountains and valleys around the village. While its surrounding is quiet and peaceful, it is also close to the small waterfall, as well as the village itself. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating and despite our very late arrival and delays on the road, they always reacted quickly whenever a question arose and waited us with a delicious dinner - more than exceeding our expectations about flexibility. Our impression was that they are ready to do their best to accommodate our needs and the unexpected problems we faced. Surely we would return for a longer stay in the future.

The view is something you won’t experience so often. Man, such beauty, overwhelming, surreal, purity… You wake up with view towards the deep valley and mountains. Only thing waking up by was a chicken yelling in my ear, he started at night, only to humor about afterwards. Doesn’t matter for what you get in return for it, perhaps a natural way of waking up, screaming me awake a bit later would’ve been more convenient though, but this is something noone can do anything about, but the chicken. Staff was lovely, very welcoming and could arrange anything needed (transport, guides for walks etc). The walk up to the Kasbah was a rather confronting experience for my stamina, though. Especially for this price, must see, at all costs. Dinner was just what is needed as well, very good. Thanks thanks thanks

Just 1.5 hour from Marrakesh, this was a sanctuary of calm and comfort. The staff are friendly and attentive and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner (the food is exceptional) in a cosy room with a fireplace and panoramic views of the the Atlas mountains. There is a lovely garden (incl a goat, duck and a chicken) with a swimming pool and even a private hammam. The Manager Mohammed took care of all our requests (even lending me a rain coat) and organized an amazing hiking tour with a brilliant guide, Hassan.

Terres d’Amanar is located in the Hight Atlas Mountain, at 1200 metres high near the natural reserve and 30 kilometres from Marrakech.
