Sidi Belyout, Casablanca
All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the riad also provide guests with free WiFi, while some rooms will provide you with a terrace. At the riad, all units are allergy-free. My room was small but for a solo traveler it was fine. Just out side my door are chairs to relax in. I loved the rooftop area. There we two areas with tables & chairs, and a covered cushion area.
Azemmour
Set in the medina of Azemmour, riad L'Oum Errebia offers a rooftop terrace overlooking the Oued Oum River, 3 km from the sea. A traditional breakfast is included and free Wi-Fi access is provided in public areas. The situation was perfect overlooking the river. Quiet. The staff member, Eunice, was a great help. He was not only an assistant in the hotel but took me through the Medina to a pharmacy on May Day which is very hard to do. An excellent guide also. Anything you want, he can arrange it. Excellent!
El Jadida
The traditional restaurant at Riad Soleil d’Orient serves Moroccan specialities and European dishes. You can enjoy breakfast or dinner in the dining room, the lounge with fireplace, on the patio or terrace. Beautiful riad; very helpful staff; very comfortable and well appointed room; truly lovely common areas; delicious meals; wine available
Azemmour
This 18th century Riad designed in contemporary style features a spa and wellness centre. It is located in the Azemmour Medina on the Atlantic coast.
Riad 7’s restaurant serves traditional Moroccan cuisine including tagines, couscous and local pastries. Guests can relax in the spa which offers massages with Argan oil.
I loved Azemmour and Riad7 was a peaceful and much needed break after being in crowded and busy Chefchaouen & Tangier.
I stayed in the Sultan room which is spacious and comfortable.
There's an area for hanging clothes and some shelves, a good sized shower, comfortable beds with a mattress cover, plenty of lighting throughout the room.
Since there are no external windows, the room is a little dark, but that also keeps it quiet. A standing fan in the room provided airflow and white noise and I slept really well.
There's a sweet rooftop with nice views.
Rashida, the manager, is a lovely person and was very helpful in suggesting places to go and even showing me the way.
Be sure you go have coffee or a juice down at one of the river cafés and explore the Portuguese Fortress.
El Jadida

+ Beautiful, peaceful, atmospheric rooftop terraces. In middle of old city beside the ocean and near the medina. Very clean and modern and high quality with good wifi, free breakfast and hot water
Great for one night perfect location to eat traditional Moroccan food . Very friendly receptionist by arrival.
Artful styled room in a lovely typical riad in the middle of the portugues medina. Friendly and supportive host and staff. Nice rooftop. Free parking for moto right infront, guarded parking nearby. Moroccan breakfast in the related restaurant nearby.
Excellent location to the old media of Casablanca and the food markets, also across from the hotel is a wonderful Bazar worth visiting as it supports local artists showcasing traditional Moroccan skills in weaving, wood work, jewellery making, ceramics, art, leather and textiles in a modern way. Shower was hot and strong and a little small but it’s an old building so you expect that. It’s not a fancy hotel but if you just want a clean room and good location for a good price, then this will be ideal.
Wonderful hosts and beautiful very clean Riad, in a super location ( near the unfortunately closed Portuguese Cistern and the sea) with a private parking and renovated rooms. We and our 2 y/o daughter loved the high bed, we certainly never left her alone on the stairs and it was perfectly OK. Breakfast was at a roof terrace nearby (2 min) and traditional , delicious .
Everything is very good. I like very much the breakfast, the location, the staff are helpful, the service is very good, and can check in even I arrived at midnight, traditional moroccan style decoration of the rooms and the building.
The breakfast was fresh and there was a lot of items. I had omelette with salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, bread, honey, jam, pastries, mint tea and some Moroccan traditional food. The service from the front desk was 5 star quality. I think the name of the man is Issane. The room was clean, good size, bed was comfortable. No complaints or negative feedback to report. I would stay here again.
Beautiful and Moroccan traditional hotel. Staff was very nice and breakfast
The room did not look like the listing but after I checked in, I was happy as it was comfortable, quite a good size with nice bed and a very good hot shower. The hotel's location is quite near, walking distance to the medina and other major areas of interest including grocery shopping and good restaurants. The breakfast buffet was large with so many choices including a station for eggs cooked to order. The hotel was also decorated in traditional Moroccan decor.
Riad Tanjil is a traditional beautifully-appointed Moroccan farmhouse located in a little oasis about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The riad provided transportation from and to the airport which was very convenient. We spent the afternoon hanging out by the pool in the backyard, entertained by a flock of peacocks wandering the yard, then were served a delicious Moroccan chicken tagine for dinner. Excellent home-made cooking. We could not have been happier with our choice.
