Soetdoring Cottage was just perfect. It has all the necessary amenities, modern farm feeling, clean and well kept. We had a wonderful braai (BBQ) under the stars and it is just 5min outside Prins Albert. If you want a Karro stay, look no further.

An amazing farmstay at a working farm close to Prince Albert. We enjoyed the absolute quiet and being in the middle of the Karoo nature. The cottage is distanced from the main house and had everything we needed for our stay. There is a lovely braai area next to the cottage and the farm has kilometers of marked paths that guests can use for walking/hiking. The stay at Wolvekraal was one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa.

Nothing. Wolverkraal is a special experience.

This is a great place to de-frag and relax. The Karoo scenery is spectacular and the night star-gazing crystal clear.

I liked the remoteness, peaceful location. The setup is rustic but it felt perfect for the location. We were able to walk around on the farm, perfect to photograph sunrises and sunsets. I booked here as I wanted to do some astrophotography. What didn’t I like, the toilet paper. Small thing, but anything less than two ply doesn’t make the grade. Apologies to my host for being so picky. WIFI could be a nice option.

It's the most peaceful, quiet and beautiful place. Each cottage is totally alone, and all we could hear were the birds and the insects. Although rustic, the cottage is incredibly well equipped, with absolutely everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were 2 enormous fans to control the heat. Berlinda is a lovely host, available if you need her, but very respectful of your privacy. There is even a small, shaded pool at the reception area, which is wonderful to swim in.

An aircon would have been nice. It is exceptionally hot in Prince Albert.

We missed a few basic items in the kitchenette for self catering. Although fans were supplied, it was still very hot in the unit. Air-conditioning would make this stay perfect.

Fantastic location. We loved the quiet, vast open space and the magnificent night sky. Great place for early morning walks while the town is just a short drive away. Units far apart ensuring maximum privacy. Rooms stylishly decorated.

It was very hot and an aircon would have been appreciated. A fan was provided but it struggled to make a difference in the heat. Not about the cottage but in the town of Prince Albert. Be advised that you need to book well in advance if you want to have an evening meal at one of the restaurants in town We tried to get a restaurant to eat at on Friday evening and most were fully booked.

The cottage was lovely. You cannot see any of your neighbours. The stars at night were spectacular.
