the temperature in our room was very low. We blasted the heat pump all night and only got warm about 3am. Also a pity about noise from the flight bath

Owner / manager was the least friendly . Answered my questions concisely and quickly.

The room was large with nice sized bathroom. Bedding all comfortable. Food was spectacular. I also used spa services for massage and facial all good . Jerry assisted me with transportation to shop which was great

I liked everything. There's not a negative thing to say about this guesthouse.

This was an exceptional stay from beginning to end. I arrived quite late at the airport and lovely Jerry came to pick me up and checked me in with a welcome drink. My room was very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast came with many options to choose from and was simply delicious. I also ordered lunch at the property later on and it was very tasty and well presented. I had a full-body massage, which was great. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Communication with the property was excellent, even when my flight was delayed. When I arrived, even though I was late, the chef offered a custom-cooked kingklip lunch that was just fantastic. Massage at the spa was top-notch. I had been travelling in Africa for three weeks at this point, in five different countries, and the food and service at Witwater was the best by far. The room was lovely, the staff was very attentive, and the chef just created each meal - lunch, dinner, and breakfast - with love. My stay at Witwater was a true highlight of my trip.

Menu is lovely but limited - oh but the breakfast was perfect.

An absolute Gem ! - cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful guest house/spa/ hotel. I fly into Johannesburg about 4 times a year and have stayed at most of the “airport hotels” wait up to 45 min for the bus transfer- get in a long queue to checkin.. lack of any interest by staff, ordinary service, food etc.. booked at the Witwater for the first time. Jerry a terrific young man from the guest house met me at the gate - name on a big board. E class Mercedes to the hotel - I check in and in the room 15 min after exiting customs . Room twice as big. Bathroom 3 times bigger than a hotel. Super nice. Great restaurant, amazing grounds, quiet ( some aircraft noise but not bad and definitely not a problem), Welcoming manager and staff. Excellent property.

The interior of the property was very well thought out, comfortable, clean and spacious. The gardens were extremely well kept and the veranda and swimming pool provided a very relaxing outdoor area. Desiree, our host made us feel very welcome. Shepherd and Jimmy were extremely attentive at all times, taking us from and to the airport in a very comfortable car. Martha who was our chef for the night we stayed prepared us a wonderful meal. Fortunately we allowed ourselves enough time during our short stay to have relaxing massages from Jennie. We couldn’t have been look after better. Our advice to travellers is not to book at a large international airport hotel, choose Witwater Guest House and Spa instead.

The Location, the venue is deep inside Kempton Park and maneuvering the transport in the morning it's a bit of a headache

Nothing it was perfect

We stayed at Witwater on our way to Botswana after a flight from UK. We arrived at the airport to be met by Innocent who took us on our short trip to the hotel. We were treated like royalty throughout our rest day and delivered back to the airport the next day. Nothing could have been better. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff. The best beds ever, a beautiful garden, fantastic food. We booked for another night on our return and it was like going home! The spa is amazing and very reasonable.

I can only praise the staff Witwater guesthouse for their exceptional service, friendly smiles and accomodating approach. The facilities are clean, comfortable and make one feel home away from home. The area surrounding the guesthouse has improved greatly and should be regarded as a major plus point for this establishment. Safe and comfortable stay, definitely to be recommended.
