We stay at the wildlife estate at least twice a year but this accomodation was without doubt the best. Spacious, tastefully decorated with eye for detail. Strongly recommended!

It was modern, beautifully furnished, and tastefully decorated. The patio with the comfortable lounge furniture and dining area was a big hit. One could watch the game whilst enjoying your first morning’s coffee. The fire pit was great. Wonderful to braai and toast marshmallows. The rooms being totally private with their own bathrooms was great.

I was determined to find a flaw, and after much searching I found the front left burner of the stove to have a slight leak or gas flow issue which caused it to sputter, and when I tried to plug an HDTV cord into the massive TV for the kids to watch a movie from my laptop, I realized the TV isn’t completely locked into the wall mount, which actually made it easier to connect to. Good luck finding anything else.

Have done a lot of traveling, but this property stands out. It’s the first time I remember feeling sad leaving a place behind, normally excited to get to the next destination. Juliette greeted us at the door and gave a tour, an explanation of local sights and recommendations, then left us to it. ALL of the amenities are top-shelf, from the pillows and sheets to the decor to the kitchen pots and utensils. Each wing of the house (yes, wings!) was immaculately clean, lightly scented, and tastefully decorated. The outside fire had been pre-prepared with a pyramid of wood, the pool was spotless, and there was fresh milk and water in the fridge and 3 bags of ice in the freezer. I could go on and on. It was a standard of professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication that all other places I stay on the future will be compared to. This may sound like a paid review or a family member associated with the property skewing the rating…but we are just a family from Switzerland that were thoroughly impressed by the value and joy Wild Heart brought us.

This is a gem of a place to stay. It's huge and very tastefully decorated. Located in a lovely compound with animals and close to the centre of Hoedspruit. What's even more attractive is the price. Very decently priced for what it is. You can't go wrong booking this place if it's available. From here we did a full day Kruger park tour, an afternoon sunset safari in a private game reserve and a visit to Jessica the Hippo. Light house keeping is also provided each day.

I did notice that the kitchen could benefit from a few additions. Specifically, there were limited serving dishes and cutlery available, which made it slightly challenging to prepare and serve meals, especially for a group. Enhancing this aspect would align the kitchen amenities with the overall high standard of the home.

The property is absolutely stunning. The decor is stylish and welcoming, the space is well-maintained, and it l offers a perfect retreat for relaxation. The outdoor area, in particular, was a highlight, offering a peaceful ambiance.

The nature side and how peaceful it was. Waking up to the sounds of Birds. And the property was extremely clean, we lacked nothing.

Beautiful charming place to stay in Hoedspruit! Even a big area to walk around in the bush with three waterholes to visit and wildlife just passing by in the garden. The host was really kind and the pictures really don't lie! The kitchen has a lot of equipment and doing your laundry is possible as well. Big & comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor & Indoor showers, nice living room & a tv with Highly recommend this place!

The only thing that could have been better was the weather, but I accept that even Colleen, the owner, and Sander, the caretaker couldn't be expected to change that - despite their excellent attention to everything else!

This is a lovely property in a great location. We enjoyed the setting and the facilities, and felt entirely safe. It was lovely to be able to go for a long walk on the estate after two weeks of self-drive safari in Kruger, and then recover on the comfy outside furniture watching various antelope (and a giraffe) wander through the garden. Next time we will stay for much longer. It's become our new happy place! I honestly can't recommend it highly enough.

Only complaint is there are no soaps in the bathrooms. That is a need for travellers arriving from overseas trip that havent been to a store. Also small amount of laundry detergent will be helpful

Situated in hoedspruit wildlife estate. Some of the rules are really hard to adhere to. Not a good place to bring kids because kids tend to make a lot of noise which can get you fined

The cleanliness of the place and the fact that it was close to the shops...the staff was very friendly and accommodating..the animals were spotted close to the house which made our stay even more interesting and fun...the beds were very comfortable ..made us to have very peaceful sleep..the pool is very warm even at night.. Everything was exceptional 👌 👏 🙌 I would probably come back.

Extremely nice unit on a wildlife park (worth while driving around to look at the game) Handy enough for Kruger. Little pool and BBQ area. Every thing you could want and crucially for SA, its on solar so no load shedding!
