Superb, I think is the perfect apartment for Summer, at winter a bit chilli. Great location in a beautiful area. Summer time with the swimming pool will be exceptional. Very close to Simon's town, Penguin reserve and Cape town national park. Great experience.

Very minor detail.. Two coffee plungers neither of which worked very well. One actually had a hole in the bottom of the glass.

Great location, stones throw from the sea and a short drive to view the penguins. Great views from pretty much every window. All the amenities we needed

We had a lovely stay, although it was just one night, the apartment has everything you would possibly need. The kids enjoyed the pool. The apartment is very cosy and perfect for a small family. Isaac and Neville are very lovely hosts, we will definitely be going back.

Great place with scenic view from the pool. We had everything we could possibly need in the place and ended up making our dinner on the barbeque. 10/10 recommend!

Isaac the caretaker, was friendly and very professional. The host Neville gave us information about good eateries and places to visit whilst in Simon's Town and made our stay really fun for our family. Very professional and would highly recommend Whale Rock. We even got to see whales the first day. Thanks so much Neville and Isaac and team. 👏

There was nothing not to like.

Perfect location, comfy beds, and the views were absolutely beautiful from every angle. Exactly like it was advertised. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be back again in the Summer to enjoy the gorgeous pool and outdoor area. Thank you to Isaac who greeted and welcomed us and thank you to Neville for putting us back on the road and for your hospitality.

The directions on Booking.com wrongly put the address as Ixia Street. This confused our sat nav as it was actually Ixia Crescent.

The location is perfect, a short hop from Simons Town cafes and restaurants and even closer to Boulders Beach for the penguins. Outstanding views from the front of the house. The weather was really windy when we stayed so unfortunately we could not use the lovely pool and deck. Had it been less windy we are sure we would have loved it.

Absolutely nothing not to love!

We wanted a relaxing holiday, away from the city centre and this is what Whale Rock offers. Although reaching the centre of Cape Town is only a 45 minute drive there was enough to keep us entertained within easy reach of here. The accommodation is superb with everything one needs for a self catering stay. Supermarkets are only 10 minutes away as are lovely local beaches which are safe for swimming. Cape Point National Park is on your doorstop as is lovely Simons Town and Kalk Bay is only a 20 minute drive. We can't recommend staying here any higher. It offered us a wonderful holiday with absolutely nothing to moan about! Wonderful hosts made us feel extremely welcome.

Beautiful apartments with a private pool and magnificent views of the ocean. The location is very convenient. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, a gas stove, which is important during a power outage. The owner is wonderful and responsive. You will receive advice on any issue. This is the place where you want to return.
