There are some rugs in/next to the kitchen, which make it difficult to walk because they slide away...

The location and the apartment with seaview were spectacular!! Kitchen well equiped, more than enough space in the apartment. Ekwctric blankets during wintertime. Beautiful terrace with braai. Very kind host who helped us booking a whale trip. She let us know that we left a bag behind and will sent it to our next location. Thank you so much, Linda!!

Beach in front of house not easily accessible for swimming

The location was perfect but stunning views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The house was neat and tidy and had everything you require. The beds were comfy - the shower is a little small. the area was quiet when we visited, easy to take long walks. Great stay will definitely come again

Location!Location!Location! It was absolutely amazing. The apartment was very tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds and furniture. Good quality linen and towels. The Dishwasher was such a bonus - who wants to waste your precious holiday washing dishes. The view . . . my first line says it all. It was awesome!

Not much to say here, everything we needed was provided for. No complaints!

The location is the most gorgeous I have been in on the Whale coast. We spent all day watching whales, jump, and play from breakfast through dinner. With two large Gas grills on the large balcony, a dishwasher, laundry washing machine and even appliances for baking…We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view is constantly spectacular; all the beds and rooms, comfortable… air conditioning and heating available for all the up-and-down Cape Town weather. Linda was an excellent host. She helped us with all questions and needs very promptly though she was all the way in Pretoria seeing family at the time. She connected us to a fantastic guy for whale watching and was able to negotiate a tremendous discount for the family. Absolutely one of my favorites and certainly my go to spot for whale season.

Just a warning that there are slippery steps down and then up to this apartment so not for anyone with mobility issues

It's a very comfortable and well appointed apartment. Easy to park right outside. Amazing sea view from the balcony and main bedroom. Linda was really helpful about answering questions and arranging a whale watch tour.

There were a few light bulbs not working in living rooms, making some spots darker at night, especially in the kitchen.

Besides the awesome location and views... The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. There were more than enough blankets for the windy and rainy nights. Everything was clean and neat even though we booked on very short notice (booked and checked in within an hour). The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. We will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Hope to be back soon. :-D

What a beautiful place to stay , the views are unexplainable, the photos can't capture the essence of this place , the unit was huge for a family of 4 , the extras seemed like a homely touch of a host that really appreciates there guests, from roller towels, washing tabs , dishwasher tabs , coffee , tea , sugar, so much more , not to mention full gas for the braai . A must for all , we will be back without a doubt, a truly relaxing and peaceful place , thank you Whale 🐋 Cove

The view is breathtakingly beautiful. There is a walking trail and a cave, which is right across the road from the apartment. The apartment is clean and has everything you need from crockery, cutlery dishwasher, pots, pans, electric stove, oven, and washing machine. It has a Cadac gas braai, and there is air conditioning in the main bedroom and lounge. Full package Dstv and a tv in the main bedroom and living area.

Fantastic location. You can watch the bay sitting on the balcony, and can get your cameras out when the whales get active. This part of the bay seems to be their favorite spot (we were there at the end of the season, but saw whales all day long, and saw them jump and breach every day for magical moments). The balcony is also perfect for taking meals, and we watched the most fantastic sunsets every evening. The apartment is very comfortable, super clean, well equipped, with lots of light and space. The beds are very comfortable. Linda gets out of her way to make the guests feel comfortable, she was very helpful when we had issues with the TV channels.

We were caught up in the storm. Linda sent me regular updates during the day regarding the state of the roads as they were closed. Due to this we missed the first night, Linda offered us an extra night, even though she didn't have to. Although we didn't take up the offer, it shows what a brilliant host she is. We will certainly be back. The whales gave us a great performance when we did arrive.

Not everyone who stays at Whale Cove is there to enjoy nature and the beauty that comes with the sea and the breaking of waves on the rocks.

The accommodation was very well equipped. The sunsets were something special.
