Stunning location, stunning views, stunning breakfast. Beautiful facility to visit.

We expected privacy and were never made aware nor was it clear enough that we will be sharing the house with another family. I did enquire regarding the BBQ facilities as advertised and was advised it is not allowed 'due to other people'. Found it strange as BBQ facility was advertised but not allowed. Nonetheless, never though anything of it. After our arrival I realised that it's not allowed due to the other people that we are sharing with and sharing came at a surprise. We feel our assumption of privacy came from the advertisement which we think should rather be clear in the advertisement and/ or communications.

Breakfast was served in a wooden box. Amazing and delicious selection of dishes.

The house is very hot in the afternoon...airconditioning would help

The view is absolutely incredible, the hosts are also very accommodating, friendly and the breakfast boxes are the cherry on top. The outdoor shower is also great

Two single duvets instead of one big duvet. A fan or better cooling system would be nice

The property closest to the beach should be more private with a screen to divide on the outside in the front. When guests sharing they can look into each others bedroom. Also, although the host made it clear about the shared kitchen the other guests took our drinks out of the fridge😩 Finally, the larger suite had no privacy curtains or blinds as naked bodies could be seen from the shower area 😱

The venue is just perfectly located! The breakfast boxes were the most delicious things we have ever had to start the day!

Lovely location at the end of a cul-de-sac so very quiet without any traffic. Awesome view directly onto the ocean so if there are whales, you would see them with a 180° view, direct access to the De Kelders "Cliff Walk", large, comfortable terrace, tasteful living units. Covered parking. I requested gluten-free options for my wife and we were hugely surprised by home-made gluten-free bread, thank you Susanne! The breakfast "Box" is a real treat. I asked if we could use a bicycle which was not a problem.

Not something we discussed with the proprietors but breakfast for us was a little late, served between 08:30 and 09:00 - if you want to do stuff or get on the road early, then remember to speak with the staff to perhaps move breakfast to a little earlier.

Perfect sea view. The whales have been very close. You can take beautiful walks along the coastline. We really loved the way how breakfast was served in our room. Very friendly and helpful staff / hosts.

Friendliness of the staff and proximity to the coastline. The terrace for watching whales. Hot water and ability to cater for self.

The breakfast was excellent and made with care. It was served on our terrace of the cosy beach house from where we could spot the whales, top location.

One of the most special, charming and dramatic places we’ve stayed.

Looking out onto on the sea with seals and dolphins was magical. April isn’t whale season. Cold ocean dips were fun. The breakfasts, were a surprise, with eight unique tasting bowls, warm croissants and little buns, jams and yoghurt. Afternoon Sips of the Schneider’s own H2O gin and soda were a real bonus. I hope to return when the Southern Right Whales are back with their babies.

Most stunning sea views, delicious, creative breakfast and attentive hosts! The area is great for coastal hiking, from Gansbay harbour to Klipgat, which is past De Kelders.

perfect location to watch the whales and enjoy the sea . Very functional and nicely furnished accommodation .

If you like privacy then maybe shared kitchen is not for you .
