My husband and I stayed at Waterside Lodge in the Sunbird Cabin for the weekend with our 2 doggies and we enjoyed it so much. The Room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable and a great shower. It also close to the restaurants. Henk and Sue was awesome and we just loved Jackson that made sure we had everything we need to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at Waterside Lodge.

There was not enough hot water to run a bath and that was disappointing. The heating linens were fantastic but the mattress itself was not comfortable.

The location was excellent with walking distance to the Village. The room decor was lovely and the amenities within were wonderful. The self-check-in was easy and efficient.

Whilst all was really good the only gripe is that up until near midnight it sounded like furniture was being moved, things dropped and heavy walking on the floor above.

Very pretty location. Quiet and if you are able walking into town is about a 15 minute walk. The room was beautifully clean and the bed soooo comfie. Lovely big bathroom. Hein was most accommodating and a great host. So glad that my daxie was most welcome too. I would recommend this place to all.

Very warm welcome by Hein and the garden is beautiful! We were there in low season so the only visitors, but that made the stay more special. The rooms are fine!

I am aware the unit is advertised as limited self catering but it would be next level if there was a 2 plate stove, bigger fridge and a sink to wash dishes. I also felt that there should be more crockery and cutlery like some serving dishes, salad bowl, chopping board etc which is needed if you braai.

The size of the unit was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Awesome to have a swimming pool and loungers after a day at the beach. Location was super convenient to walk to village restaurants & shops and the beach. Hein was a great host and Trophy was lovely.

This is my home away from home. Returning time and time again to this wonderful guest house, speaks for itself. The manager Hein and housekeeper Trophy are an absolute bonus to the property and they took very good care of me.

I think it was great value for money but maybe consider upping your price to include towel changes and cleaning. Your nightly rate is very reasonable and probably worth more. We have not encountered extra charges at any other places we have stayed on this trip and I personally would prefer a fixed price with no extras when planning a trip.

Room decor slightly dated. Needed a few more supplies i.e. Sharp knife and taller drinking glasses. Steps into pool very deep so quite difficult to get out.

Large room with a very comfortable king bed. Beautiful gardens with a lovely pool and outdoor sitting area with water view. Very helpful and friendly. Close to shops and restaurants.
