Some more convenient options for lunch and dinner at the house would have been nice.

High end facilities with tasteful furnishing and attention to detail for excellence. Personalised service and effort to accommodate us was great as well, making the stay really amazing. Closeness to the Sandy Bay natural beach was a big plus!

I disliked having to leave this wonderful place at the end of our stay. They are fantastic.

Hosts were amazing, welcoming and friendly. The house is beautiful and well-situated with lovely views. The breakfast is delicious with a good selection of dishes. The surrounding area is serene and magical to take in.

Heartwarming welcome from Portia and Cindy. We felt almost at home. This tells a lot as this is something that hardly happens when we are travelling. Everything was perfect, but Portia and Cindy raised the bar even higher.

Does not have a toilet water spray even though it’s not a popular thing in countries outside the middle east I would love to see more places implementing it. Although food was very good but as a muslim I would have loved if the meat come from a halal source. (Its down the verge of nit picking since the stay was so good)

We could not find a fault at Vyn Guest House!

Our stay at Vyn Guest House was a truly unforgettable experience! Martina and Klaus are exceptional hosts and have built the most beautiful guest house and worry-free experience. The guest house is state-of-the-art, with every comfort you could imagine - modern luxury. The views from our room over Hout Bay were breathtaking. The breakfast is fantastic: great choice of al-a-carte options, all fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Excellent coffee (thank you, Klaus!). Fantastic breakfast bar with bread, jams, fruit, yoghurt and granola. 10/10 breakfast! Every detail has been considered and cared for at Vyn Guest House: from the architecture and layout, modern-day conveniences like the luggage lift and facial recognition system, to the communal breakfast table to meet other guests, and the accommodating hosts, Martina and Klaus. Our stay at Vyn Guest House was so enjoyable and relaxing; we hope to return soon.

The fact that we only had two nights and didn’t have more time to enjoy the pool.

Beautiful property and hosts. Rooms were spotless, the interior design of the whole guest house was fantastic and the hosts and their staff were warm and welcoming. Coffee was outstanding. Martina and Claus also gave us a great recommendation for a stunning hike on table mountain as well. They made sure when we returned in the evening we were safe and sound. Had a nice afternoon walk down to Sandy Bay beach and a workout coming back up the sand dunes. Worth the hike back up from the beach!

The only thing was the communal dining table for breakfast, we would have preferred a bit more privacy but the food and service was amazing.

This location is top! The guest house is beautifully decorated and every detail is thought of. Martina is a very kind host who has lots of tips and helps you where she can. The view from the rooms is breathtaking! The beds are perfect as is the breakfast.
