My family had the privilege to stay at Vermont lofts. We felt at home the moment we arrived. The apartment is beautifully furnished and very clean. It has everything you need in a self catering apartment. The view is amazing from inside the rooms as well as from the veranda. The surrounding neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. We are looking forward to vist The Lofts again.

We enjoyed our time spent at Vermont Lofts, the cottage was fully equipped with everything needed, clean and cosy. We enjoyed quility time with our girls. Also enjoyed the games available and had lots of laughter even though we had rainy weather

It was all as described but it would have been nice to have more kitchen and indoor dining and seating space because it was a bit late in the year to sit/eat outside in the evening without a fire. A little odd to enter through the hosts' living room. WiFi only reached one room.

Lovely host, beautiful location, comfortable and beautifully furnished bedrooms, good bathroom facilities. Fabulous view. WiFi was good to have. Kitchenette had all the basics. Really helpful to have two parking spaces.

Only downside was the lack of air conditioning/fan which wasn't a huge issue to be honest

Katrin was amazing! So friendly and gave us loads of recommendations for things to do in the area. We did all of them and had the most amazing time! What a beautiful place. The accommodation was also excellent with a lovely veranda/balcony area for enjoying the sun.

We loved the peace and quiet that Vermont offered during the holiday season in Hermanus. Not far from the dunes at Vermont with a smaller, more private beach. Our hosts ensured we had everything we could possibly need and more during our stay. The view and outdoor area make you feel like you're in Greece. Would definitely book to stay here again.

The kitchen was quite basic and the strip light in the kitchen very bright. But it does not take away from the beauty of the lofts!

Delightful property- and owners who were super helpful. Great interior design- just loved the big window seats!! Highly recommend - close to lovely beach walks.

Self-contained apartment on 1st floor accessed through the main house. Own private balcony area. It was super windy and we had prepared for a braai. The hosts were very accommodating, allowing us to braai in their front garden which was much more sheltered and went above and beyond to provide some chairs and other bits to ensure we were comfortable out there. Would have liked to stay an additional night to fully appreciate the area which was very quiet and residential.

I would have liked a bit more working space in the kitchen to prepare food.... , no space for cutting board or dinner plates, the entire counter was already occupied by appliances & mugs. My suggestion is maybe another shelve to accommodate some of the crockery & essential small appliances(kettle/ microwave/ air fryer) to free up some countertop space.

The sunrises over the bay (with twinkling lights of Hermanus in distance) from our expansive bedroom balcony was truly magnificent! The size & furnishing in our bedrooms was very elegant & spacious. Our host, Katrin was exceptional - she knew we were looking after our 1year old grandson & provided us (without us asking) with a non slip mat in the bath, the most adorable bunny crockery & some farm fresh eggs from the local market - it really felt as if we were staying with relatives. Her garden is fairytale pretty, we took beautiful pics in it with our grandson. She even advised us which evening stroll paths to follow, with tidal pool stops & a mobile coffee van along the route. We have already recommended Vermont Lofts to 2 sets of friends & will continue to do so!
