Stunning very modern & comfortable. The indoor braai works amazing, we were surprized by nice things in the fridge. So many birds around the house, we loved it. Beautifull quiet part of town. Nice view of the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of our host, Wikus. From the moment we arrived, Wikus kindly guided us and ensured we felt welcome. The thoughtful preparation of welcome fruits, chocolate, and a well-stocked fridge with water, juice, and milk was greatly appreciated. The accommodation itself was equipped with everything we needed, allowing us to stay comfortably for two days without any inconvenience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

It did not bother me, but the iron steps up to the upper room must be taken into account if you have any problems with mobility.

Everything, absolutely everything has been thought of and supplied. Piping hot water was always available. Very impressive that indoor braai did not smoke into the room at all. Hosts happily provide more wood if needed, in fact, provide anything you want. Welcoming bowl of fruit and sundry beverages in the fridge. Very private; come and go as you please.

Nothing particular. If you're looking for a garden, this doesn't offer one. It's an upper room and has a balcony. For some, this can be a disadvantage. But we didn't mind at all.

This was an amazing one-night stay and by far the best we had in South-Africa. And in a month's time, we've stayed in a lot of different stays for a night and locations throughout South-Africa! The place was very clean, had a spotless bathroom with a shower, and beautiful homemade sink. For dinner, we used an airfryer (never seen that before in one of our stays). And the absolute pinnacle of this accommodation was the indoor braai! We loved it!! It gave warmth and a delicious dinner. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was filled with some welcoming treats. When we come back in a few years we'll definitely go back to UpperRoom Ceres! And maybe even hire their UpperRoom on Wheels to explore Cederbergen. The owner showed us some pictures of it, and it looked just as awesome and clean as the UpperRoom accommodation.

If it was up to me, I would give the place 10 Stars⭐. It has everything that a guest could ask for and more! The hosts are super friendly. I was treated to a carbo loading meal before my half marathon the next day, and further given a lift to the start line of the race. I will definitely be back and book the same place again!

I loved everything about UPPER ROOM. Is is upper class! Fantastic hosts. Awesome view of mountain. Waking up to the sound of birds, not traffic is a bonus. Room is immaculate. Special treats, unexpected was a WOW!

The host was so helpful, they started the fire for us in the chimney, very responsive over the messages as well. The place is so neat and clean, the location is so perfect near the town and also with the mountain views.

The attention to detail and thoughtfullness in the apartment was excellent. Top class The hosts were friendly and informative on local attractions . The load shedding issue has been taken into account with many lights being provided ,and can even watch TV during load shedding. Bonus was a fully stocked braai in the kitchen with wood , spices ,tongs etc ,as well as some refreshments in the fridge. Great view of the mountains and a quiet location. Will definitely recommend this property.
