Woow exceptional service, I was given opportunity to upgrade my room and pay in the morning as we wanted the view to the lake/pool. We had wonderful service from the lady in the kitchen excellent breakfast and she allowed us to buy wine and wine opener even though the cellar was close. Best value for money and the food woow🔥

We did find that the restaurant is closed for renovations and it was not communicated with us when we booked the room. One of the filters used making the booking was a restaurant on site. Theresa did refer us to a good restaurant. Directions signs on the property is not clear and very confusing. There was a problem with water pressure because they were without electricity due to cable theft.

Well maintained property in most respects, and all the rooms have beautiful views of the lake and vineyards, but we believe that the most expensive rooms do not warrant the extra costs incurred. It is intentionally not equipped for self catering because of the pizzeria on the property, but having a glass of wine on the porch in the evening, cannot easily be done if you want cheese and biscuits as an accompaniment.

Great location and comfortable accommodation. Peaceful and quiet location of the guest house. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to on site restaurant and to other local restaurants and sites of interest.

We had a wonderful stay at Under Oaks travelling with relatives from Germany. It exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the morning walk through the vineyards to get to the breakfast. We visited the restaurant on the premises but would advise that you book as it does get busy. If possible book a room with the terrace/patio. Definitely worth it.

Having to drive from the guest house to the main building for all meals was a bit of a bind especially when breakfast was only until 9.30am. We are not normally early risers so had to adjust our routine quite a lot.

Good room, good breakfast, good dinner in the pizzeria. Complimentary wine tasting and the opportunity to buy some excellent wine not available in the supermarket.

I wouldn't recommend this place to a person who is not driving their personal vehicle. The walk from the guest house to the Pizzeria or the manor house where you eat breakfast is far for walking. the other night whilst my wife and i were walking to our guest house from the Pizzeria after having dinner there, we were attacked by a dog, i am not sure if it was a stray dog or a dog from the estate but it was a traumatic experience, Fortunately none of us were bit during the attack. Collette was nice and comforted us.

The place is beautiful and the rooms and are what they show on the pictures. The swimming pool was nice and the views were breathtaking, the Pizzeria on the Estate has some of the best Pizzas i have ever eaten and the wine is equally good. Collette is a great host

We loved everything about Under Oaks. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations. One word to describe our experience is "professional" from beginning to the end of our stay.

Everything was great.

Great setting, in vineyard overlooking small lake, with cows and horses and lots of birds to sit and watch. Staff excellent always cheerful and help as much as they can. Pizza restaurant at the main house was very good also the staff there were 10 out of 10.

We requested a room clean up and by 14:00 when we arrived back to the room the room had not been serviced. Our coffee was finished so that wasn’t replenished. The mattress of the single bed in Viognier needs replacement. Otherwise we had a good stay

The view from our rooms from were beautiful. The decor in the rooms are vert well put together.
