Everything was wonderful and a perfect location for exploring and enjoying Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and surroundings. We have received plenty of great tips for winery’s, food and other activities.

We had the pleasure of staying at this small hotel for two nights, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Anina, whose hospitality made us feel like part of the family. The hotel was impeccably clean, with great attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and with a fantastic variety. The beds were extremely comfortable and big. What made our stay truly unforgettable, however, was the incredibly warm and personal service. Anina took care of everything with so much heart and dedication that it felt like she was the mother of the hotel. Staying here felt less like being in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. A huge thank you to Anina and the entire team for making our stay so special! We will definitely be coming back.

The ground floor room looked out onto the entrance and the street so was not private if the curtains were open.

Hugely friendly staff. The bedroom was large and well designed. The common areas lovely and the breakfast great. The property is located on a quiet and attract street that was a stones throw walk from the nightlife and historical buildings but seemed miles away.

When we arrived, Nina the manager tried so hard to sell us a wine tour which we said many times we were not interested in. She said we could have anything we wanted for breakfast, it’s so strange there isn’t any food out or a menu so you’re expected to request what you’d like. When we went to breakfast we were served Bircher muesli which we didn’t want!? Then asked for pancakes to be told that isn’t possible so we went out for breakfast. Nina said she would get all the ingredients for pancakes for the next morning no problem. Next day, asked for pancakes, conveniently Nina wasn’t working and the team did not have pancake ingredients. We were served another bowl of food we didn’t want and had to again go out for breakfast. This is when we met Caroline who was managing the house too. She was BRILLIANT. So lovely and chilled, chatty and friendly, unobtrusive. And the next day she personally made us pancakes it was lovely. She made the last part of our stay amazing, if it wasn’t for her we would have been very disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Twice Central Guest House. The place is very close to the city center in Stellenbosch, (and safe!), the rooms are very modern, clean and the breakfast was great! The entire staff was very helpful (for example with restaurant/winery reservations, ...). and made our stay unforgettable. Good pool area to relax with a lot of shadow (good in hot summer!). We definitely want to come back!

Unfortunately no sun by pool in afternoon due to the direction of the garden so next time we will be tempted to get a garden with a balcony. But everything else was perfect!

Another superb stay in this wonderful guest house. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and good wi-fi with a superbly cooked and presented breakfast. The location is very close to everything in Stellenbosch.

The stairs to the bedroom. They were very steep and small. Please ensure that you check with your guests as to whether they can manage stairs comfortably. On the one day my son did not have breakfast and we informed the reception thereof. But the next day we asked for an extra guest to be included for breakfast but were told that we had to pay extra. I just felt that there could have been a bit of flexibility given that the previous day the guest house did not have to cater for breakfast for my son. I was happy to pay for any extra breakfasts but felt that there could have been a trade off where the hotel did not have to cater for a breakfast that had originally been included but not used.

Breakfasts are very good but for men the hot breakfast could have been a bit larger. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We checked out at 05h00 so there was no breakfast. the room is very comfortable and space is more than adequate for 2 people sharing. Location is excellent..walking distance to many restaurants and events.

Nothing, I loved my stay!

I loved my stay here! The staff were so lovely and called you by your name which I thought was a lovely touch. The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The room felt really luxurious. The staff gave me recommendations of where to eat. I felt really safe. I also mentioned that I liked the flowers in the reception and when I went to my room they had put them in my room, such a lovely touch! The pool area was very comfortable.
